Now do the servers handle the site as well? because that crashed at the same time. And if they did handle the site, maybe when there is an ABIO you could shut the site down to free up more space? Or does that not work....

I think you'd have to have surprise abios if you want to have them.
Too many people who never regularly play show up just for the abio.
I was hoping I could actually see one for once.

Real shame but thank you for the attempt.

With over 140 people it would to be split into at least two separate sessions, but three would be better cause there will always be people who do not fill out the list or just show up randomly :x

Well, I really was looking forward to it but it is alright, it was crazy party-before-the-party. Couldn't you limit the amount of players that enter on the days you had Abiogenesis so it doesn't go overboard?

Ah well, thanks for putting it together. In a weird way it's kinda good cause the Forest has so much support it blew it up! lol

Yup, on making one of my games the question of a server came into play, too.
I think ours was around $40 monthly - which was a lot!
And of course, that server I imagine was much weaker than The Endless Forest server.
So it's probably very expensive, sadly.
I do agree though about looking forward to new pelts and a server, perhaps one sunny day :3
That's not to say it'll happen, but hope is human! (laughs)

Lets not turn this into a server argument <3 yes they cost money etc, but that doesn't stop it from being the only real all-rounder solution to the capacity problem as TEF grows in popularity, as people are simply pointing out, not demanding it be so (;

Thanks for trying though M&A! I saw 137 people connected at one point, that's got to be a record, and I loved seeing the house at the drinkplatts! It's great to see so many people on making their own Abio, I'm still only at half picto-spread haha.

@ Vag: Agreed, it's not too much to hope for such a thing. In the end I'm certain that SOMETIME there will likely be a new server IF everyone puts their mind to it. It's a thought to consider.
