Video Mate Date - Stali

For the ongoing Video Mate 'roleplay', Quad is going to have his dates on here so he can get to know the does interested in him better. I hope this is okay, sorry if it seems like I'm spamming the site but he's got four dates to do XD!!

While this will be a date with Ryff's Stali, anyone can stop by and observe, interact, whatever. Just try not to embarrass Quad...he gets a little gassy when he's nervous. Eye

The blackbuck arrived at the Old Oak just past midday, a good time as there weren't any deer sleeping there. He set up a nice lunch of specialty mushrooms and pinecones with some pond water for his date with Stali. The ambient sound of the wind flowing through the Old Oak was pleasing to his ears, and he was glad that the weather was perfect for the date.

He awaited anxiously for his date to arrive...

/baah why didn't I see this earlier :c/

Trotting quietly, Stali made her way to the Oak. She had groomed her fur so that it was fluffy and soft, the colour of freshly-smelted steel. On her ear was a little blue lily. Rounding a tree, she saw the blackbuck and approached, somewhat loudly to be sure she didn't startle him.
"Hi, Quad!" She smiled, wagging her little tail happily.

The blackbuck smiled and bowed, "Hello, Stali. How are you today?", he asked.

In reality, she did startle him when she appeared, as he wasn't expecting her. He nearly jumped, but he was glad he didn't, or didn't show signs of being caught off guard.

She offered a little curtsy in return, giggling lightly. "I'm fabulous today, what about you?"
Her tail wagged gently while she surveyed the surroundings, seeing the lunch he had prepared in the process. The blackbuck was smart; the sure way into Stali's heart was through her stomach!

Quad nodded his head, "Just fine, just fine!", he said with a cheeky smile. He turned and motioned for her to sit with him. "I hope you like these kinds of mushrooms and pinecones. They're an exotic variety."

He sat down by the picnic he prepared.

Stali sniffed quietly. "Well, they smell delightful, dear." With that, she sat across from him, examining the banquet he had set out.

"My, this is quite a lunch you've prepared." The blue-grey doe chuckled softly. "May I?" She motioned towards her plate, asking if the lunch was officially started.

Quad nodded happily, "Yes yes, please go right ahead.", he said, nudging a few of the delicacies toward her with his mask. Sounds like she might have just as much of an exquisite taste for food as I do..., he thought.

"It's a really neat kind of

"It's a really neat kind of mushroom I like from the Far East called Enokidake. I really like eating this kind of mushroom because it just kind of melts when you eat it, ya know?", Quad said with a polite smile.

Oop...talking about food again., Quad thought to himself, I hope I'm not boring her with all of this.

"So uhh...just out of curiosity, what's the most exotic thing you've eaten?", he asked.

She nibbled another one and

She nibbled another one and made a soft sound in agreement. "Ooh, they do indeed melt. They're among the best things I've eaten, m'deer." While her primary profession was nursing and medicine, the doe had a fascination with the culinary arts.

At his question, Stali smirked and chuckled. "Do you really want to know?" She asked, a breeze blowing her ears sideways as she looked at him with gleaming silver eyes.

"Hmhmhm. My half-brother once dared me to eat a bird. He's...not right. He dropped it right at my feet and said,

'What's wrong, girly? Chicken?'

Well, I couldn't take that damage to my pride, so I ate it. It wasn't bad, actually. Not that I'd do it again, but...oh my, I'm rambling." Her cheeks flushed a bright crimson, looking up at him with a nervous smile.

Quad's eyes widened, "Oh really? That sounds...terrible that you had to eat another animal. I mean after BEING a bird sometimes with transform spells, I could never do it, even if someone gave me a thousand pinecones!", he said.

He noticed she was getting embarrassed, and then said, "Err....but it's understandable. I think I met Lucyfer once, so uhh...don't...don't think I'm judging you, okay?" He tried to smile here.

She chuckled nervously. "Hm,

She chuckled nervously. "Hm, he's never mentioned you. Big, tall fellow? Skull-for-face? Dragon horns?"

She thought about her half-brother for a moment, the dark being he was. Their common father was a large mule deer, but while Stali's mother was another mule deer, Luci's mother was an Irish elk. Lucifer was heavily Irish elk, and Stali was just a small thing growing up with him. Their size difference is astounding, with a weight difference of at least a ton and a half.

"What about you? What's the most exotic thing you've eaten?"

"...Yeah...maybe I've just seen him around, not so much as 'met' him.", Quad then said, shaking his head. He has met so many in the Forest that he might have been thinking of someone else.

"And as for me, the most exotic thing I've eaten is durian. It was really...pungent. I was sometimes told that my flatulence smells just like it, heh...", he said but paused for a moment. Did I really just say that...on a date?!, he immediately thought, making a face.

"Err...I mean...it was really smelly.", he said, thinking, Smooth, Quad. First you talk about your gluttony, now you're talking about your farts. Good job.

But instead of being repulsed, like many does would, she giggled. "Hehehe, well between you and me, though I know it isn't ladylike, I've been told something similar." She made a face like a shocked onlooker. "Clear the area, it's been nuked!!!"

At this, she burst into a fit of laughter. After she calmed down, she stated, "Sorry, that was weird. Sometimes I think my jokes are funnier than they really are, heheh."

Quad's cheeks puffed out a little. "Hahaha that's awesome, really it is! I'm glad to find someone else who laughs at farting. Heck I even laugh at my own sometimes!", he said with a smile.

He giggled himself, and inadvertently farted at that moment.

Quad nodded, "Be whoever you want to be, I don't see why anyone would tell you otherwise.", he said, then shaking his head, "Hearing that really ticks me off, ya know? I don't see why anyone should be telling anyone else what to be."

He tried not to lose his temper, stuffing a mushroom into his mouth to calm his mind.

Seeing him jam a mushroom into his face made her do the same, and she looked quite silly with a whole mushroom misshaping her mouth. Looking at Quad, whose face was equally rediculous, made her make a funny face to see if she could get him to laugh.

...which she did manage to make Quad smirk, his mouth still stuffed with the mushroom that seeped out (unchewed). He almost looked like he was rabid with the white mushrooms seeming to 'drip' down his chin.

He swallowed the fungus and then burst out laughing, barely able to say, "You almost made me choke!" during his laughing fit.

She began to laugh with him, barely managing to swallow down the mushroom. "Your face was PRICELESS! Hahaha, you're a real card, ya'know?" Stali was still giggling as she glanced up at the sun, which was dipping slightly. Time really flew. Of course, sunset was very romantic, if Quad had nowhere to go.

She glanced back at him and smiled, the red sun flashing in her silver eyes, creating a fiery contrast inside the mercuric pools. A giggle. "Red is a nice colour. I do like sunsets. They remind me of magma." She stated this in short sentences, mesmerised by how the more golden parts of the sunset danced in Quad's eyes, reflecting off his fur in a halo effect.

The stag nodded his head, "I've always loved sunsets myself, not so fond of the coldness of the Forest afterward, but it's always been worth watching.", he said.

He shook his antlers just a little, comparing the redness of his zombie antlers to the sky itself.

Almost the same color.

She simply smiled, glancing between the sun sinking beneath the canopy and the blood red colour of Quad's antlers. Silence as the sun vanished and left the clouds cooling into lavender and finally violet as night fell in a matter of moments.

"Ah, day passes so quickly in the spring." Stali looked back at him. Her pelt and eyes shimmered slightly with the rising moon.

"Mhmm...", Quad agreed. He let out an unintentional yawn, then said, "Sorry."

He then said, "I had a great time, I hope you did to. I'm very happy to find another deer that has similar interests as I do."

He hated to tell her that he needed to go. He really hoped she understood what he meant.

A giggle. "That's quite alright. I've had such a nice time today, Quad."

She stood, giving a curtsy. "Well, it's about time to bed down for the night. I'll see you around the forest!" With that, she giggled a good-bye and began to trot off, vanishing into the inky darkness of the nighttime forest.

((Valentine's date has been pretty good, really different since she's a zombie. Quad had a funny moment where a candle went out and he relit it by farting. Mama's date hasn't been started yet, and Cay Lynn's date has been done. Hers was funny, a few awkward moments Eye ))
