Personality:
Shyla is in essence a forest sprite. In tuned to the natural world, she much prefers its company to the chaotic gatherings of her fellow deer. She can always find friends in the trees, rocks, and wildlife, but not always with the hoofed creatures trampling the earth with their boisterous, and many times malign steps. Still, she is curious about others, often watching from a distance, sometimes longing to be part of it but never daring to. She is most content to be in the background, safely tucked beside the comforting bark of a tree, from which she draws her courage.

Shyla is a timid doe for certain but her fear and nerves shift often with her mood, making her level of acceptance of others unpredictable. If she is in high spirits she may let others approach her and be more willing to join in the fun, and if she is sad she might seek out companionship, but from afar, her fear increased by her anxiety. And if angry? Beware. This flighty doe can turn on you in a second if displeased, warning you off with lowered antlers and standing her ground.

To most, her heart remains closed, and to only a select few of her acquaintances does she give her complete trust, fewer still her ‘love’. She is soft spoken and quiet, speaking only when necessary to strangers, though she tends to be quite a bit more open with friends. She loves to give advice and to comfort, and often speaks in a whimsical manner, at times prattling on and on about nothing as thoughts enter her mind - much to her embarrassment upon realizing it. At times Shyla thinks of herself like a dream, slipping in and out of reality, always changing and shifting, molded to the dreamer‘s wish, something to comfort the weary and easily left behind upon waking. And like a dream she attatches herself to those who need her most, or so she judges. She thinks herself an excellent seer of souls. Even still, her self esteem is clearly shattered, though she preaches often about her lack of emotions and how unbothered by life she finds herself. But she is only mortal, and there may or may not be truth in her convictions…

Appearance:
Once she sported the Great Argus pelt, but has now traded it in for the light-bellied real deer pelt. While doe antlers might have suited her docile personality better, the Key antlers were far too tempting to pass up. She loves their design, and was perhaps a little influenced by her male friends, whom she grew up with, into wanting to protect herself and feeling insecure in smaller antlers. She wears the hands mask, liking nothing bulky or clausterphobic, preferring something close to the skin so she can forget she's wearing it and feel free from anything getting in the way. And of course, three violet flowers always decorate her head around her antlers.

As for features and figure, Shyla's face isn't particularly feminine. She's very average in her looks, with a rounded face, wide forehead a short, stout nose. The hair atop her head is a golden-brown color and has grown long and disheveled, and it's full of natural waves and curves. It tends to grow longer on the left side of her face than the right. Her neck is particularly curvy and a decent length to her chest, and thicker fur grows from her throat to just between her forelegs. Her fur is often mussed and dirty showing signs of poor grooming habits. She also tends to be a little under weight, hip bones prominant as well as a few ribs at the least. Despite this her figure still isn't 'slight'. She has a sturdy leg and frame, lacking the 'delicate' feel of more feminine does.

Likes:
- The fish in the pond. Out of all the creatures in the forest, these fascinate her the most, and remain her closest friends.
- The pond in general. She loves the water, looking into her own reflection, watching it ripple when it rains…
- Rain. She likes the sound and the chill of it as it seeps through her fur to touch her skin. The sound of rain lulls her to sleep and spares her the nightmares she often has…
- Kissing :3
- Music
- Feeling secure and having her space
- The birch forest. It seems to be always sunny there, and the colors are magnificent.
- The Playground. It use to frighten her as a fawn but now she likes the high vantage point, and the memories she made there...
- Being in animal form. Being something other than herself makes her bolder, and she feels freer to play and be around others this way.
- The Drinking Plaats.

Dislikes:
- When the forest is in Twilight or Fog. The darkness and scary noises frighten her, and she will be very hesitant to come out in it.
- The Halloween sets, especially the masks and large red antlers. If you have one of these sets it may take you twice as long to gain her trust
- Stags with intimidating sets
- Being crowded or pressured
- Being approached quickly by strangers. Shyla feels more comfortable being the first to approach others in general, and if she doesn't like your approach, she'll flee or warn you to back away
- Bullies. The one thing that will set this normally timid doe off is the bullying of innocents

Quirks:
- Well, shyness obviously XD
- When she gets stressed, she'll obsessively pace, back and forth in one spot and tune out the world around her until something snaps her out of it
- She will stop and greet animals, trees and plants, sometimes having 'conversations' with them, though she doesn't actually hear them speak back
- If animals scurry by, she might veer off her path or bound after them playfully. In the Birch forest, if she suddenly begings lunging, leaping and rearing, she's probably chasing the birds.

When Meeting Shyla:
- Make your intentions known as friendly from a distance before approaching
- Try not to approach directly or quickly
- If sitting near her, give her plenty of space and dont face directly towards her.
- Give her time. She accepts by simply tolerating your presence. In time she'll come to you and return the interest (IF she likes you that is XD)
- Don't take her moving away or threats personally. These are simply reactions to discomfort. Just move back, and try something else.
