     | Welcome to the skull painting parlour! Here you can request skull masks for your deer to be painted up, free of charge! This all started up years ago to make sure everyone has a cool skull to wear once the Big Zombie Deer comes in the forest for halloween. It's very simple, on the left you see 5 skulls, a moose, jacob's sheep, crocodile, horse, and human. All you have to do is tell me which skull you'd like to be painted, and a reference of your character. I will then paint the skull to go with your reference! In the little tab titled "2019" you can see the skulls done last year. If you'd like me to keep something specific in mind because you want to match it up with an in-game mask, or you want it to fit with the theme of your deer, just let me know. This year I am not drawing add-ons, or adding more skull variations. Feel free to remove jaws or edit the skull any way you like though! What can I do with the skull? Anything you want! But please don't sell it rofl. The image otherwise is entirely free for you to do with as you like. Do we have to roleplay? Nop! You can just request a skull for your character without any IC interaction too. But we're up for both. Whichever you feel like. But please give me a link to a bio or a link to a reference image to work with, and your choice of skull. Any limits? He really had not meant to startle anyone or anything and the sight of the spider raising itself up like that did have him perk up a little, tail wiggling in wary fascination. Any animal that wasn't a deer, or some kind of ungulate, he found himself curious about. Of course, there were some he would rather keep his distance from, unless they proved themselves not a threat. He was overly cautious sometimes, but spiders had never scared him.
Hazel eyes glanced back up to the doe as she spoke, shifting a little on his feet again at her comment on him having kept the skull in good condition. Well, it was his only mask, and favorite one too. He wasn't going to let it get ruined. He relaxed slightly, a soft smile on his lips, showing off the peg-like teeth that filled the front of his mouth, much like the teeth from the skull he wore.
"Thank you. If ya ever need somethin' I'd be happy to help you get it."

I'd like to take the skull of a deer. Color skull can move from white in the bright sky-blue shades. With light blue and light purple or crimson, or dark blue) patterns, dots, spots, etc. I think it might be your imagination.

As promised, a few hours later, she was done. Red and golden swirls, and a leftover golden pheasant feather from a different headdress. It went with the colors, she figured. [b]"Here you go." The tall doe smiled, handing him the skull back. "Hope it's to your wishes!"

To explain the customs I've been doing, I'm happy to do a custom skull/add beads or feathers to an excisting skull when the requester has drawn something in return too! Quality doesn't matter. Adding things or making new skulls just takes a lot more time, it's a bit more of a trade then!

The kitty skull you mentioned before for Cualli maybe? I know he's not active at the moment(redesigning his body, his color scheme remains the same) but a feline skull was apart of his new design(so when I do get to redesigning him in the near-ish future, he'd just come to Verve anyway ^^) and I remember mentioning this to you a loonnnngg while ago, and then never getting around to it(Gotta love life.). If not that's fine too!
The other would be Reate. He keeps pointing me to a ram skull. Color wise, just anything that'd either compliment or is inspired by his design(this goes for Cualli too!) -either of his morphs- I really just can't wait to see what you'd come up with. I like to see other's interpretations of their concepts.
Either way I'm gonna sit here and look at the pretty designs. Lilu's and Thais' are my favorites. So pretty!

Poinsettia carefully approaches the doe known as Verve. Looking over many of her beautiful craft work, she begins to wonder how shes done all this herself. Stopping in front of Verve she lowers her head to her in a bow and smiles at her with a mouthful of feathers. She wishes she could tell her how beautiful her work is but lacks the voice to do so.
She then gently places the feathers she once owned as a fawn in front of Verve, nudging them slightly to her as if saying "these are for you" and smiles once more at the doe. She then notices the little brown creature resting on the does back and watches the thing curiously.
(Also sorry the feathers are linked to my page, but I cant get just the picture by itself. Keeps saying it cant be found :/)

Farrah gives Verve one of her big tail feathers, which has a small ruby attached to it. Hopefully that's enough for a pretty ram skull. 8] You'll get free hands with the colors and things. But perhaps some kind of a third eye shape on the skull's forehead would look amazing.

He nodded at her words, standing there for a few moments as she seemed to study him, before he watched her get lost in her work, slipping away to go and retrieve what it was he was planning on bringing to her.
They were a little tricky to carry together, but he didn't mind, moving slow through the trees back towards where her workplace lay. It had been around an hour or so, so he had thought now would be a nice time to return, moving to carefully let the large, five prong antlers fall to the ground with a gentle clunk. It was then he spotted the familiar headdress of his, and his eyes widened. That... that was his mask? He stepped forward to take a better look. The painting on it was amazing.
"T---that's way more then I asked fer. Ya didn't really have to go all out like that." He glanced towards her, shifting on his hooves. It was gorgeous, and he felt like he could probably never repay her for it.
"Thank you."

The tall doe returned the bow of the stranger, happy to meet so many new faces as of late. This one didn't seem to speak, but clearly offered her feathers in trade. "Thank you! I will do my best on your mask." The doe replied. She always did, of course, but those who gave her something always got a little extra touch.

This one had been fun! Reds were her favourite, her own mask was red entirely as well after all. Judging from the stags reaction, he was pretty happy as well! "Of course I did. And well, even if I didn't, I kinda tend to go all out." Most of her skulls seemed to get a new base color entirely instead of a few streaks of paints. She enjoyed dark skulls the most. It sort of happend. "You're welcome, glad you like it." The tall doe nodded with a bright smile. "And thank you for the antlers! They will be very useful for me, thanks!"

As the afternoon rays his soft brown pelt, he smiled at there warming touch. Walking among the birch tress - the birds mostly quiet, the cool breeze warning them of a up coming winter. The twin gods having chosen to let winter’s cold touch caresses the forest sooner than usual - wondering to himself what there purpose was to do so. Maybe to make spring longer - he though, excited as he would get to see his first winter, and his first spring as well as his first summer: Having been born in the fall or atheist that’s what he thought. All memory of any other kind of life inexistent in his young mind - only remembering his name and basic info of his surrounds on his first days.
Today he was on the look out for a deer who was notorious this time of year - Verve he heard was the deer’s name and she made unique skulls for deer who wanted them. Mystic liked to collect thing - to have a skull of his own would be something he’d cherish forever. Though he had nothing to give her, so he’d understand if she didn’t want to. Having talked to a couple of deer for the first, he still was cautious, especially since the rut had just ended.
As he arrived where he thought she was, he smelled a earthy, juicy smell, realizing this must be the smell of paint. That means she’s around here, wondering where she was as he looked around spotting a tree that seemed to be full of odd objects - realizing he must be in her usual spot. Guess she is out and about - Mystic thought - sitting down deciding to wait.
As time grew old, he found his self dozing off as he waited and without him even noticing her fell asleep, his head resting on the worn ground against his short fur.

Art was apparantly not something that came together with balance and harmony for the tall doe. Midway through her work, she had realized she had ran out of red. Her favourite color! And a pretty popular one this year as well. So she had to leave the small mask she was working on behind as she went to get more material.
Returning from her short trip with a basket full of whatever she had been able to find, she stiffened up at the sight of the small child at her workplace. Uh oh. They didn't seem covered in paint or anything of the like though, so perhaps it wasn't one of the wild ones who always seemed to rummage through her stuff. Like her sister. Maybe plural.
When she came closer though, she realized this one was asleep. Gently putting down her basket, she lowered her head closer to the ground to inspect the child. Very young, clearly. More uh-oh's. Verve silently sat herself down next to the child, deciding that waking them up would be cruel. And silently started to crush up her materials in various, different wooden bowls she had aquired. A tedious process when you have spiders for hands.

After an hour after the large doe had arrived back home, Mystic stirred a little his ears twitching as he opened his eyes. Surprised by what he saw - causing him to smile brightly. This Verve truly was an interesting character and he was happy at least to see her up close since he had sleeped close to her work space.
Her body seemed to be made of hues of grey shading down to a black in some areas such as her legs and rump - yet her body was covered in paint strokes that never failed to attract the eye. Colors such as white and red curled along her body. A skull was panted on her chest with red eyes that gave it a warning yet welcoming look - as if the person with this sign was safe and mysterious creature. Beads sat on her hoofs and her neck, sagging on her body. Following along her neck up to her odd facial features, having long thin ears with golden pieces in them. A odd hat that sat upon her head, seemed to be made of red design and golden pieces with red and white string hanging in front of her face. He wondered how they didn't get into her way, his smile becoming wider as he looked upon her face. It too was covered in white and red paint - a straight line down her face even over her lips. Her golden eyes where soft and warm - this feature alone had caused his smile's growth earlier.
Realizing he had just stared at her for quite some time, saying with a blush "I-I'm Mystic. Are you.. um Verve by any chance?" Tucking his legs into him self, to keep his body warm.

She was deeply buried in her activities when the fawn finally woke, her yellow eyes shifting towards him when she realized she was being stared at. "Ah, you're awake!" She said cheerfully, giving the young kid a smile. They looked like a fairly ordinary fawn, those that belonged to the forest. They were often parentless, it seemed. Which caused some worry for the tall doe she wouldn't show.
"Yes, I'm indeed Verve. Were you looking for me, Mystic?" It wasn't uncommon for her name to become a little known around this time of year. Free stuff quickly did the rounds. Which she was very happy about. It brought her back to her goal of providing the whole forest with her crafts, which she had made up when she was younger. And not involved in near-fatal accidents she'd rather forget. "Can I help you with something?" She decided to ask. Pretty relieved the child seemed to be able to talk.
