Oh, this silly, blue and very little doe is my Moon! She feels that Romulus is a Nightmare (and Nightmares are her fear and hatred, it is connected with her history). And she tried.. somehow.. cast him out. This is her first attempts to do something like that, so she need to look pretty silly and strangely.

Hm. Romulus was a nightmare

Hm. Romulus was a nightmare before, when Nidhem's plot was still going.. Now he has his physical form, thus he is flesh and blood. He still is able to do tricks with dreams and turn them into nightmares if he pleases to, though, so he is kind of a bogeyman, but no longer a nightmare.
He doesn't really enjoy to be bugged, so I'll just mention that the attack a moment ago probably won't be the only one coming to Moon's direction if she keeps trying to take vengeance on him. xD

She could not find compassion, even in words. "What warranted such a thing?"

Her unexpected question caused no reaction during the time of few seconds. The guarding wolf-deer remained standing in silence, perhaps wondering about the small doe's choice of words.
“She is not dead..?” he broke the silence eventually, harsh and low voice echoing just slightly inside the ebony mask, quiet and raspy as if he'd have quite a sore throat. Slowly his head turned.

“..The walking corpse seemed suicidal, I was merciful till she crossed the final line.” Short silence followed.

“She saw it coming. But I am sure she tells you a whole different story.”

A sharp bark of laughter escaped her muzzle. "No. She's not dead. I wouldn't let her die," she answered flatly, leaving no room for explanation in between what was spoken and what she would say afterwards. "She told me no story; though I'm not the type to bias myself toward the opinion of a friend. I would believe a story from her no more than I would from you," the grey shrugged. "I just have an inclination to know as much as I can."

It all sounded familiar. Most things in the forest never withered, bloomed forever. For some it was a blessing, a curse for the rest.

“How wise of you,” the wolf murmured, tone lacking any hint of admiration or appreciation. He cared very little which one she would believe in the end, or if she believed neither of them, it was all the same. But this neutral trait about her was quite interesting. “Most would only believe their friends.. But you differ.”

A short silence was given again, before the wolf-stag would then lower his head a little and let out quite a heavy breath.
“..But now you do knowledge what caused such.. brutality.. I can only hope the corpse learned something from it, and if not, I will be fairly disappointed.”
