You can actually minimize without it crashing, but this freezes the forest until you click back. Have to go to your menu, 'control', then uncheck 'keep running in background'.
Ah Sunflare, you can just have it running in a window and then click on whatever on your taskbar. Just make sure not to double-click on the TEF icon when you want to go back to that window!
