It doesn't bother me that much, though. Now I just avoid any biography or whatever that I know has wacky, blinding colors covering the whole page. I don't mind the duller colors, but anything too crazy and I guarantee you I will not give it a second glance. I like the current layout as it is, and I like to see the different nifty things people do with biographies as long as it doesn't effect the entire website. I tried to do that with my own bios.
Anyway, I haven't really said anything on the subject before because I don't want to hurt feelings. :x

There are other ways to create nice effect on blogs than raping the whole page. Plus, I've heard it causes some people's browsers to crash so it's not too useful either.
Really don't want to sound like a nagger here but that's my opinion~ I mean no harm to anyone with this, I'm not pointing fingers to anyone in particularly. I just feel uncomfy seeing this becoming a new trend.

I don't mind a little CSS. But when people use it to the extent that it changes the colors of the Navigational bar to the left, and I can't read the links, and the topmost header is just gone? That's too much, IMO. First of all, it's annoying. It's more annoying than autoplaying mixpod music at 345783468 decibels - and that? That's annoying.
If I can't read the font for the navigation bar? You're pretty much editing the entire layout of the page, and to me, that's not cool. If you want to have small tables inside of the perimeter, so to speak, of your own blog? Hey, that's your little space. No big deal. But once you start effecting the whole site? That's not cool.
A few days ago, someone botched their coding so bad, that it effected the appearance of endlessforest.org/community. Which is like..the main page. Thankfully, they fixed it, but...when someone botches something up and then doesn't realize how to fix it? ::Shrug.:: I know what I'll be saying.

And most of the coded bios stretches faaaar outside my screen and makes my computer angry, personaly I think most light-coded bios being way more beautiful and fun to look at.
