Usually I use Adobe photoshop, (if you don't have, you can use http://pixlr.com/editor/)
and tablet. but for this drawing I used OpenCanvas. I think- it's not too important what program use, it'is just which more comfortable for you. But tablet it's really what need for drawing like this. Whithout it, you can't create fast lines with different pressure. But one more way- drawing by pensils, scanning, and coloring in computer. Hope it helps you.
