The wind blew steadily, flowing over the crest of the cliff and into the evergreen valley below. Two stags stood upon the high rocky outcrop; one taller, one smaller.
One of them, the small black and white one, leaned over and peered over the edge. His green eyes were curious. "Is that the Forest?" he asked his elder. "Is that our home, Father, all the way down there?" "It is." his father acknowledged. "That is the place that you must protect, with all of your heart. Those are the trees you must know, each and every one... that is the river you must cross. And stepping among those trees, hidden from our eyes, are the deer that you must accept and treat with kindness, no matter what wrongs they may do you. Your mother taught you not to bear grudges; now, I'm telling you to not just be civil to but attempt to better know every deer that does you wrong." "I don't know... can I really do that?" The young adult bit his lip nervously.
The older stag didn't reply, instead nudging his son gently with the tip of his muzzle. He lifted his great head to the sky. "Look." he said calmly. "Do you see him?"
The young one stared up in the sky, searching out the object of interest. The morning sky was a brilliant blue, becoming paler and yellower at the horizon where it hugged both land and sun; and speckled with white clouds. "What?" "You'll see him, soon." his companion murmured. "Big or small, young or old, we will all walk with him, and know him in our hearts. He holds all of us dear; you must do the same."
The little stag let his gaze wander. It seemed to him almost as if the clouds were gathering, forming the outline of a huge deer's face; then he blinked, and the deer in the sky was gone. The warm breeze blew again, making his hooves itch to be bounding across the field of grass he saw and splashing across the river. "Can we go?" The young stag asked plaintively. "I'm a little tired." "Hn." His father snorted, but complied, and soon the two were skittering back down the treacherous cliff path.
It's not really a story, but I thought of it fast and quickly wrote it down and translated it. It took me longer fixing grammer and of course the picture itself, which was much bigger but I had to shorten it.
The older stag is Ethan, the younger, Myszka, just did a little something to celebrate his birthday, make me do homework really late at night, to practice my pencil sketching clouds, and because Myszka hasnt seen Ethan in the Forest for a long time!
♥ hope you like it!
This is so so so sosososososososos freaking adorable ;;
Lovvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvin' on it ♥

It is so adorable. I have something to post as well and I want to post it now but my mom will kill me cause I have MSA testing tomorrow. T.T I ask here anyway. xD
Do you mind if I print this out and hang it on my wall? xD JK.
Can I print this out and show it to my art teacher? I won't take any credit for doing it. I just want to see if she will teach me how to draw clouds like that in like animal forms and OH MY GOD... my dog is sitting on my butt. xD
lol! Push your dog off XD I'd be afraid of him/her snapping at me though. At least its not a cat sitting down, cuz' they always try to use their claws to hang on whenever you try to push them away (too many good pants got scratches after a cat jumped on my lap)
It might be a waste of colour though The original thing had much better shading and stuff because I used pencil and looked realer. It's just scribbling on paper lightly with pencil and then blending it with a finger or chamois towel thingy (dunno the real name ^^) and using the pencil eraser to make white spots!
much better things on google images to show your art teacher!
erm. Yes XD
I don't know the names of these thingys, I use them in school but just say 'pass the towel' and recently heard someone call one of mine a chamois.
I just email it to my teacha if thats ok with you? It's awesome. I won't need to mail it to my teacher if you tell me what video you watched to learn how to do that. >=D
I just looked at pictures on google of clouds in black and white colour selection for reference Though I'm sure theres a video somewhere on youtube about it. Youtube is amazing 8D
