Because some of us actually take role playing seriously. Some of us actually befirend other deer in hopes they are befriending that deer, not a character actor that could turn into something else at the drop of a hat ^^' Some of us can't just go "ooc". Maybe this 'plot' was forced upon those who wnated to be Virgil and Baal's friend, and they go along with it only to remain their friend...then to come into the forest to see them laying together one day, then fighting again the next? Are we just supposed to switch OOC too? Or are you stating that unless people accept the fact that your deer's whole life is just a whim and nothing in it is serious that nobody should be their friend? After all, if their enemies arent serious how can their friends be?

Serious? Ok, maybe not. A big deal? Probably not either.
Annoying to those of us who actually want to stay in character and let our deer live their lives without games? Yes.

I don't see anything wrong

I don't see anything wrong with showing people that deer vs deer doesn't have to mean player vs player, it was nice to see everyone getting along and I had fun..who cares if Queze has a grudge against Baal for what he did? I can look beyond that.
