Trees swayed, branches cracked, foliage rustled. The consistent rumble of his approach was often startling. It wasn't meant to be, but the freighter of a deer was just so bulky! He parted trees like Moses parted water, foliage flattening beneath hooves the size of a fawn's head, or so it seemed. Well, he was just a regular Moose, right? Nah.
As the being broke the treeline, his head swung beneath a branch. Great big antlers branched from atop a crown with a pair of the LONGEST ears you have ever seen on a cervid. Donkey's ears... on an Alaskan Moose... Who woulda thought?
Don't get your hopes up.
