I had windows vista, and today I installed windows 7. The forest won't run higher then 6 fps when I'm not even connected! With vista I got at least 10 when I was connected, and 20 when I was not connected...
Can I fix this? Or is there something to let it work a bit faster..

I'm not sure if this will help but... it sounds like something that happened on my laptop. After an update, the power plan had reset itself from "high performance" to "power saver" and this caused a sudden and dramatic drop in frame rate. It took me a while to figure out what had happened, but switching it back improved frame rate immediately.
See if your power plan is at power saver, if it is change it to high performance

Is your firewall blocking parts of it? You need to make sure your computer's firewall is allowing it to access the server.
