Why is everyone so hostile?

Is it just me?

I mostly keep to myself, but when I do approach another deer they avoid me...
Recently I whent to lie down near the spring and a fawn came over and acted like it wanted to fight or something.

Is this the way it usually is, or is it something I'm doing wrong?
Idk this is just really just turning me off the game.

Don't take things too personally in the game ...
Some players are roleplaying too .

Some of those hostile deer might be in-character, or they're other new players who are testing the game. Or then they're just players who like to mess around and be aggressive, you shouldn't let those ruin your day though.
There is lots of nice out-of-character players and characters in the forest, I'm sure you'll meet some of them. Hopefully your experience isn't completely ruined.

You're right it could have been role-play though... I hadn't considered that.
Maybe it was just too many negative things happening at once.

Anyway, thank you both for commenting.
I guess I'll give it another chance for now, the game itself is very beautiful.

I've had my OOC deer

I've had my OOC deer in-forest more, lately. You're welcome to join us, though I may not react much because I'm shy about interrupting IC deer (and I'm often just sitting and watching anyhow). I'll try to remember your pictogram, though :3

Some days a lot of characters are in a bad mood, unfortunately, and the Forest gets riled up. It doesn't usually last too long, though, and things settle down again. It's usually pretty calm.

It's so bad watching as our forest becoming unfriendly... Two years ago or more, as i remember, it was really different from recent time.
I'm lucky to be grown in such 'friendly' times Puzzled
