Out of everyone in the world, it amazes me that...I was scared by thunder this morning, about 14 minutes ago. I was trying to fall asleep again, almost did...then the power flickered, went off...

BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM

o__o;

I was frightened to death, it was loud, I was/am tired...meep.

;-;

I'm gonna be sleepy all day. Scary thunder ;-;

It's just strange, because

It's just strange, because I'm not the least bit scared of lightning or thunder...normally, it's one of my favorite parts of the storm.

thunder is the devil. i remember waking up during a thunderstorm and my dream had thunder in it, and i was shaking to death. ive never been a fan of thunder and lightning -_-

I used to hate thunderstorms

I used to hate thunderstorms when I was a kid, especially when I was trying to sleep at night. But now I love them...when the power doesn't go out at least. I saw some flashes of lightning when I went to bed last night (actually this morning ^^; ), but I found them cool.
I'm sorry the storm bothered you. =(

A sudden, house-shaking bolt

A sudden, house-shaking bolt of lightning when I'm half-asleep...it's the only way thunder can scare me.

Apparently, my mom heard it all the way from where she was, 15 minutes away o_o;

We had one like that around

We had one like that around an hour ago. Made me jump and drop the controller, heard a strange beep sound, and my deer kept moving forward. O.o The controller stopped working too. Had to hit esc to make my deer sit, then unplug and replug the controller before it would work again. Not sure what caused that, but...yea. Adrenaline rush. O.o

Yep. XD Firefox has this

Yep. XD Firefox has this add-on called Forecastfox, so I see what the weather is in the bar on the bottom, and can mouse over the radar to see if there's bad weather nearby (it's a bit delayed though).
