(American) English. ;; *BORING*
Teaching myself Japanese and Icelandic, though; Japanese would probably be my second strongest language even aside from the Spanish I learn in school, but it's still not anything fluent. I hope to take classes in college for it so that I can better improve my favorite country's language. <3
Of course, living in the United States, English is my first language. However, because I live in California, which is predominately Hispanic, it's a necessity to know Spanish.
Oddly, I already have an strange immediate understanding of Spanish, even if I haven't learned what someone is saying to me, I understand it. Sometimes, when I can't find the right English word for something, I'll use the Spanish word for it. Just like that, not having to think about it.
English is the only language I'm fluent in, but I've studied Spanish for some years and can hold a decent/mostly simple conversation (or at least follow someone else's).
English is my first language but I do speak some Cantonese (even though I live here now it is not my first language), also some Mandarin and Spanish. I also know Latin, but I've become rusty since I can't speak that to anyone but scholars and the Pope, haha. I studied it for three years and like to practice it sometimes still.
