.. When you can't sleep?
I usually try to think about something awesome.. Which usually leads to stressful thoughts. No idea why..
Or I'll just read a random book.
Or even count sheep..
Sometimes I'll imagine that I'm sleeping outside, in a snow cave or something with a blizzard going on, and I have to stay still and warm. Or I'll imagine that I'm laying on the back of a horse as it walks or a giant bird as it flies steadily, feeling the gentle rocking motion. It's kinda strange, but it occasionally helps me to relax and fall asleep.
I concentrate on my breathing so I relax, then I just imagine waves or light coming down on me which are like 'blankets of sleep' it usually works for me ^^
I imagine one of my deer or a random deer settling down for the night and sleeping very deeply. My mind races often when I sleep so concentrating on a calm, steady image helps me a lot.
