A diary entry by Triffie.
"I didn't know what this was at first- this huge shadow. Like the one in the willow tree. But it spread out over the land, and I suppose others called it 'darkness.' I must admit.
I was afraid of it."
"We take things like life for granted. Like, I suppose, light for granted. And I discovered that there is light in darkness, but in the most tiniest of places, places you wouldn't normally look. It is very comforting, just like the prescence of a curious fawn."
"But when you're looking for that tiny sign of light, you might wander into more darkness. 'Tis a horrible feeling, and you walk even more slowly and unsurely. Of course, we can do that together. Then, you might say, it doesn't seem that bad anymore."
"And of course, many deer, stags and doe alike, say that you don't know what you have until you've lost it. They never mention that glorious, glorious feeling once you get it back. Sure, we take things like life and light for granted."
"I have a frail soul, 'tis no doubt about that. But sometimes, it doesn't matter if we're surrounded by this thing called 'darkness' and fear.
We can always dance the night away."
"I couldn't agree more."
I was wondering who you were; Triffie is adorable ♥
