This video was made from pieces of the movie Little Otik, which based off of the Czech folktale "Otesánek," in which the husband of a barren wife finds a tree stump shaped like a child. The stump comes to life, and the couple raises it. In other variants of the story, such as in the Russian fairtytale "Logboy," the child becomes a loving member of the family. In the Czech version, the child is a monster that devours everyone and everything. Long story short: Be happy with what you have!

Actually, I kind of liked it though. The "rough" animation had personality in it and added to the athmosphere of the music... And there´s also something fascinating in the old, bit darker fairytales and folklores. A wonderful work, it´s quite rare and refresing to see something like this. <3
