Since I don't want to have a separate post for every art I make and clutter up the forum, I'll just use this one. I'll have previous pieces sorted by date. CSS credit goes to Unplugged and the CSS Quick reference thread.

Now, to add something new:
I wanted to make a more accurate full body reference for Jan's bio, since the old ones are kind of atrocious.
I'm okay with how most of it turned out, but the shading on the body is just a muddy mess >:/ still, no matter how much I fiddled with it I couldn't seem to get it right, so whatever. I'll figure something out next time.
Then there's this birb / harpy lady who I'm not sure about yet. I have a name for her though: Seeh'ly (pronounced something like the words 'see' and 'lie') there are 2 variations, because I couldn't decide. I'm leaning more towards the second though, it's more natural.
It's an ultra early (and boring) WIP for now, no markings or anything yet. I want to have the basics set first. And I might not even do anything with it in the end. It's TEF related though, so why not post it.
I also just realized that I never come up with deer faced concepts. Oops.

A face only a mother could love (art)
^that mother being me i guess
So, although I haven't been very active around here, I still visit from time to time (still not motivated enough to actually start playing a character
not counting the times when I open the game and just do nothing or have it as background noise when I sleep) and I still kinda like drawing January when the mood hits me, so now with Halloween aproaching, I felt like drawing her again and giving her a proper face, for face reference mainly (and for practise, cuz human faces are just so damned hard to draw ughuguhugughhh)
Might turn this into an art blog of sorts later (if I draw her or anything game related again. I kind of want to try my hands on painting landscapes too? dunno), but not sure how frequently it will be updated :T we'll see.
Hello again to both of you!
The Halloween mood and the creepy aesthetic that comes along with it is a powerful thing. I'm glad it's inspired you to share your art with us, and I hope you continue to do so!
Her face looks lovely, as always! The smoothness of her skin is something that I'm a bit envious of as I tend to under- or over-do smooth shading like that.
i love this
wow, just wow!
holy smokes, this is
(No subject)
@FishBiscuit Thank you :>
Thank you :> Since the holiday season is coming I hope I'll have more time to be productive and do more art stuff.
Ah shading... I have to admit, I mostly do it by trial and error, because of the exact same thing you mentioned. It's either too much or too little and finding balance is difficult :T It's probably not the best method, but it's the only one that seems to work for me atm.
@Leotie and Chizzu
Thank you both <3
@Laur.
Thank you, I'm glad you think so! Especially since expressions are tricky beasts.
@ResidualSaudade
