Virus?

Um haha. Funny thing happened when I tried to install TEF. Kapersky showed up and quickly closed the installation and 'moved the file to quarantine'. The message popped up super quick and closed before I could get a good look at what the file was called. It was like something blah blah dot 'worm' and then it said the whole quarantine thing.... I looked it up in Kapersky's quarantine and it said this:


"Quarantined legal software that can be used by criminals for damaging your computer or personal data. PDM.Worm.P2P.generic"

.....does that mean anything?

I tried to download the 3.31 version [downloaded from Tale of Tales(Luxembourg)] but after Kapersky popped up I deleted the folder and zipped folder....
Does TEF have a virus/worm? Did this pop up on anybody else's computer? It didn't show up on my old computer when I downloaded TEF.... (then again that was a crappy computer)

Well I'd rather be safe than sorry and if TEF does have a virus or something I don't want to play it at all. I just don't want to risk our new computer that we JUST bought and get in trouble for wrecking it, ya know? But just because I can't play the game doesn't mean I can't come here and socialize, right? Smiling

Cause i am and i got no problems with the download .
My antivirus is avira !
I do not remember from what land i downloaded the game ; Sorry !

I wonder if it's flagging it because it needs to use the internet to send and receive data.
Have you tried disabling Kaspersky, installing TEF, and then re-enabling Kaspersky? Some games will tell you to disable your anti-virus when you install; maybe this is one of those cases.

The only bad thing about TEF

The only bad thing about TEF are the glitches. I have had no viruse's and I honestly think your over-worrying yourself over something that Isn't bad at all.

Kaspersky always does that,

Kaspersky always does that, for some reason. This isn't the first I've heard of it doing that. But there's no virus.

I am having trouble with this

I am having trouble with this game. I have only gon on twice (logged in) and both times it froze up. Sad I was lucky for it to close and when it did I was relieved. I am even under 15 years old, and so I am using my family's computer. WHAT WILL THIS GAME DO TO THE COMPUTER?!

This means your internet

This means your internet connection maybe is too slow to run the game properly .
Or your graphics card is not powerful enough .....
Try to log in another time ....the less deer there are the better the game will run .
No need to be afraid there is a virus .....it is safe .
