(Yes, I do feel like I need another page for this. Just hoping I won't end up making separate blog entries for everything that should have been just a tab in his bio. Oh well)
- Aardvarks rock! ^|^
- Roseate spoonbills rock as well. Just look at this expression.
- It's been almost 6 years and I'm still absolutely in love with the Long Mask. It's not a mask actually, it's simply his face.
Whatever form he takes, he can always be recognized at a closer look by this peculiar pattern on his elongated snout. - He has a TAIL (surprise!). I mean, not that little deer tail, but a massive one. Well, as any respectable aardvark would have.
- And a super long tongue too. Although one rarely gets to see it, as the spirit doesn't need food.
- He's dark red. Somehow I've always perceived the Noh pelt as red and was surprised to see people drawing it in orange, although it is in fact something in between?? Idk really, I've always thought I was mildly colorblind %) Thank Gods I have the Blood Red pelt now to avoid the confusion.
- Antlers. Or ears. Or, most probably, head fins. Whatever they are, they look like a couple of frayed flags. I also like to think that he can flap them like some rudimentary wings while he rears onto his hind legs, as if trying to get off the ground — a sign of great joy and excitement. May be an allusion to Hermes' winged sandals (after all, that guy was a soul guide as well).
A HUGE THANK YOU to all you wonderful people who kept drawing Urschanabi based solely on his in-game appearance and my vague comments. You were all so eager to make arts of him, and it kept bugging me that I could provide you with neither a proper reference, nor any precise description. That's what finally moved me to work out his appearance. Not sure I could have ever brought myself to do it without you.

Mm, I only downloaded what you posted back then)) There were just two versions of the picture, with and without Lu. The one with Ursch alone has transparent background, so I thought you made it in case I wanted to use it as a signature or something? Idk, you should know better)
The butt adventures were posted somewhere in the comments to Uitleger's former main blog, about four years ago.

So many hearts... Now, I feel
I'm so used to your character that when i draw without realizing it, I get exactly him. And the patterns on the mask... I get lost in them all the time. It seems that the plot is clear, but my hands want to come up with something more perfect and clearer than is customary in the game, and I can not even understand myself, what I want to depict on a long mask?
And even when I hang out with other players for a long time, I can't draw them for some reason - because of that, I even feel indebted (some time <<<:) )
