Ilu Dannii. Sierra fumbled

Ilu Dannii.

Sierra fumbled with the keys while trying to open the door to her apartment. She was vaguely aware of Jareth standing behind her, As the door opened she noticed a note on the floor. Picking it up it said. Revenge is not far away
I will make you mine
Either by force or by will
You will be mine.
Sam

Sierras hand already flickerd to her heart shaped scar that Sam had previously given her.Sierra was frozen as she notice the words were written in blood. She was very unaware of Jareth at this moment.

A low growl erupted in

A low growl erupted in Jareth's chest; he'd read the note over Sierra's shoulder. "Oh I beg to differ," He snarled, mismatched eyes darting around in search of any sign that the clearly-mentally-unstable man was still around. He could smell the blood from the note, and it disgusted him. It was then that he realised he was protective of this woman. Protective.
Because he considered her something close to a friend.
Jareth blinked at her for a second.
"Are you...?"

As Jareth spoke Sierra turned

As Jareth spoke Sierra turned torwards him pale as a ghost and feeling some what faint. Am I what ? questioned Sierra?

"...Nevermind," He said

"...Nevermind," He said calmly, studying her face. She was pale, clammy-looking. Clearly not feeling good at all. Jareth pushed the door to her apartment open. "I think you need to sit down, and figure out what to do."

Snapping back into reality

Snapping back into reality she realized Jareth could become in danger. No no I think you need to leave she said in a rather unsettled voice. All she knew is that she did not want to see him get hurt.

He let out a smile that

He let out a smile that looked far more like a smirk. "Oh no no no. I'm not leaving you, not when he's looking for you. That would be a ridiculous decision on my part," He paused. "Don't argue with me. Haven't you called the..." It took him a few seconds to think of the right word. "Police?"

Sierras heart melted at his

Sierras heart melted at his smirk. How could I have called the police? And why should I they wont do anything. You really should not associate yourself with me any longer or else danger might befall you. At these words she hung her head in shame . She wanted for some reason protect this stranger.

He would never understand why

He would never understand why humans insisted on not calling the police when they were in trouble. Wasn't that why they were there? "Please," He waved a gloved hand indignantly. "I'm more than capable of protecting myself. Go to the police."

Fine Sierra muttered pulling

Fine Sierra muttered pulling out her cell dialling 911. Sierra calmly explained the situation to them. After awhile the conversation ended. Hanging up the phone she turned t Jareth. They will put a police patrol on my street. But they think its just some prank.
So I hope your happy this makes no difference to the situation.
No doubt hell try to kidnap me and force me to be wife.
In which case Id rather die which in the end will probably happen.
Breathing heavily Sierra slid on the floor. Feeling drained. She had just unleashed a ton of frustrations.

Jareth just watched her as

Jareth just watched her as she explained the situation, only to blink at her in surprise at her outbursts.
His hands were careful as he pulled her to her feet, leading her inside the apartment. "Sit." It was not a request, but an order. "You'll be fine."

Sierra only obeyed him cause

Sierra only obeyed him cause she did not know what else to do. Uhh unless you know a place where I can stay and never be found Sam will always find. She muttered hopelessly

That brought a somewhat

That brought a somewhat bitter smile to his face for a moment. Oh, he knew a place, but he would never tell her that.
Though if he banished Sam to his Labyrinth...
No, no. That was against the rules.
"Mm. He should be in prison, Sierra."

He was in prison apparently I

He was in prison apparently I got the date of his release wrong. But he seems intent on hurting or killing me before or if he goes back to prison. By then Ill.... Ill be dead. Even if I hide he will still find me in this world. So you see Im a goner she faintly smiled at Jareth.

It was times like these that

It was times like these that Jareth wished he was allowed to commit murder.
It was times like these that he felt rebellious towards the laws of his world. Or, more specifically, the laws of the High King. He hated that man.
Jareth could send this 'Sam' to the Underground. He could put him in the Labyrinth. He could put him in an oubliette.
Yes.
Yes.
Jareth's eyes sparkled with mischief. He was only getting rid of this man. He was not killing him, nor being more cruel than 'Sam' himself had been.
"You'll be perfectly fine," Jareth nodded. "Or as fine as one can be, considering what's happened in the past."

Puzzled Sierra took Jareths

Puzzled Sierra took Jareths hand in hers and looked at him sincerely in the eyes. What do you mean?
How can you be so sure?

He stiffened slightly at the

He stiffened slightly at the feel of his hand in hers, a little surprised, and withdrew it. "Trust me." It was such a strange request to make.

Im sorry she said as he

Im sorry she said as he withdrew his hand. And blushed from embarrasment. Sierra tilted her head when he said to trust him. Jareth I trust you but I need to leave this place.

"Mm." Jareth said nothing

"Mm." Jareth said nothing more, but looked around the apartment briefly. "You're going to be fine." He nodded seriously. "I'm not wrong."

Regardless of whether you

Regardless of whether you right or wrong I dont feel comfortable staying here anymore. Standing up she goes to her closet to retrieve her suitcase.

"Well I'm not surprised," He

"Well I'm not surprised," He stood up too, looking around again. "But where will you stay?"

Umm not sure she said as she

Umm not sure she said as she dumped all her clothes in her suitcase. Do you have any suggestions ?

Jareth smiled dryly. "I'd

Jareth smiled dryly. "I'd suggest you live with me, but unfortunately, I currently live in a house owned by a friend," He wished that he could say something that meant more than friend, but that would be lying. His heart clenched. "And we've recently been joined by another, so the house is rather full. Besides, neither of my...housemates take kindly to strangers."

Its not lke I could not hold

Its not lke I could not hold my own but I wont impose on you. Hmm thats it. Well lets go she said as she headed torwards the door.

Jareth shook his head in

Jareth shook his head in amusement, following the woman out of the apartment. "And where are we going?" His mind, however, was focused on one thing, and that was how great it would feel to punish Sam. Because punishing people was always fun.

Im going to the train station

Im going to the train station she through a smile at Jareth. However I have no clue where you are going.

"The train station?" He

"The train station?" He frowned slightly. "Hm...I suppose I'll have to go..." He hesitated. "...'home', Chime will worry." The king decided that Sierra really didn't need to know that he was going to take care of her situation; she could just enjoy the results instead. Jareth could find her wherever she was, so he didn't have to worry about losing contact...However.
"I'd like your phone number." And that sounded strange, extremely strange. "Just to keep in touch."

Ok its ..................

Ok its .................. Sierra suddenly stopped the atmosphere changed. She could feel Sam watching and lurking. Turning around she tried to find him but to no avail she did not see him. Dam Sierra muttered under her breath. Hes here some where she thought I need to go. She started quickening her pace.

Jareth's owl eyes narrowed;

Jareth's owl eyes narrowed; he, too, looked around, but either Sam was very well hidden or the Goblin King was not looking hard enough. He could not see him, but he was starting to suspect that Sam really was there.
The thin figure strode after Sierra quickly, eyes darting here and there. "Your phone number, Sierra. Quickly."

Sierra abruptly stopped

Sierra abruptly stopped walking she did not turn to look at Jareth she was to busy looking around. Ok its 6782 400089 got know get the heck out of hear she pleaded looking into Jareths eyes. Please get out of here now. Dont follow me just leave. Sierra was shocked at herself how could she have put Jareth in danger like this. Sierra was terrified of Sam but she had to make sure Jareth would not get hurt.

He was a proud man -- well,

He was a proud man -- well, owl -- and was not about to say 'take care'. "Allright," Jareth took a note of the number in his mind, then turned a corner and into an alley out of sight - then disappeared, a white-cream barn owl taking his place. The owl flapped into the sky, away from Sierra and away from the scene.
It was time to 'take care' of Sam.

Relief and sadness came over

Relief and sadness came over Sierra as she watched him fade into the distence. Sam would follow her and leave him alone for that she would be grateful. She coninued to the train station purchased a ticket to Maine and was on the train in a matter of minutes. It was not until the train was moving did she notice two men in black who were watching her every move. Of course she thought how could I be so stupid. It wasnt Sams aura who she had felt it was his men. Sierra cursed under her she was in major trouble and the only thing she could do was sit and watch, and wait. Sierra casually took out her cell phone and stared at it. He wouldnt call he was probably happy to get rid of a nusiance like her.

It was a few minutes later

It was a few minutes later that Jareth had Sam in his labyrinth, had not explained anything other than 'you have 13 hours to reach the centre', and had disappeared back to the human world.
Then he'd spied on Sierra through a crystal, and had not liked the look of things. She looked nervous and was staring at her cellphone.
Only one thing to do, then.
Jareth didn't have a cellphone, but he had a house and a quick way of getting there. In a secluded alley, Jareth disappeared again. He reappeared in Chime's house, sensing that neither she nor Thomas were in, and dialed Sierra's number on the phone.
The king waited impatiently, tapping his foot. Sam was taken care of, but Sierra didn't know that, and he had the feeling she was in trouble.
Why did he have to care about people...his friends?

Sierras phone started to ring

Sierras phone started to ring she did not recognize the number but before she could answer the train made an abrupt stop the phone fell out of her hands and onto the ground. One of the other passengers who was passing by accidentally stepped on her cell. Man Sierra muttered there went her brand new phone and any means of communication. She was in deep trouble now. It was anothe 30 minutes until the train started back up and they were on their way to Maine.

When there was no answer and

When there was no answer and the machine began to speak in its robotic voice, Jareth's jaw clenched. That couldn't be good.
He peered through a crystal again once it materialised in his gloved hand, and his eyes narrowed. Sierra's phone appeared to have been smashed.
Dammit.

For the next while the Goblin King paced back and forth, trying to decide what he was supposed to do. Finally deciding that he could not materialise in the train, he instead 'poofed' near the railroad, in a secluded area of forest, transformed into an owl and flew in search of the train Sierra was on. It didn't take long for him to find it, but he wasn't sure how long he was going to be able to keep up or ahead.

The train stopped after the

The train stopped after the next hour to finish repairs at the train station here she sneaked off the train and calmly started walking. She was was being followed so she made a detour to ladies room. Here she changed her clothes and put on a wig which was rather difficult since she had waist lenghth hair. Going out of the restroom she spotted the two men who did not seem to recognize her. Hmm this will only buy me an or 2 at the most. Sierra decided to ditch the idea of going to Maine. And find somewhere else to hide.

Jareth had given up on

Jareth had given up on keeping up with the train after twenty minutes, deciding to just disappear into the woods and watch Sierra through a crystal until he could follow her again.
He saw her change, not really bothering to look away since he often did live up to, as someone had once said, the reputation of being a 'voyeuristic pervert'. Somehow Jareth doubted her disguise would hide her for long, not from those men.
The king disappeared again, reappearing near the station and turning back into an owl in order to follow Sierra. He swooped overhead, high enough so that he hoped few people would pay too much attention to the fact there was an owl just flying around near a populated area. His gaze only left Sierra to flick to the two men. Jareth perched atop a pole, looking down at the woman. If these men would just go away, they'd realise Sam was gone, honestly gone, and leave her alone.

Sierra purchased a sandwhich

Sierra purchased a sandwhich at a local food store. Munching on it she noticed an owl perched on a pole. The gaze of the owl reminded her of someone Jareth,,,,, she muttered under her breath. No no she thought I must be going crazy why did I just think of him she thought while taking a bite of her food.

*He really is a pervert that little King needs a timeout.*

There was emotion in her eyes

There was emotion in her eyes when she looked at him; he almost saw it as recognition, and might have been amused if the situation hadn't been serious. Jareth ruffled his feathers with a quiet hoot, then flew down to perch on a pole just outside the food store. A few people seemed a bit bewildered by the owl's lack of fear, but no spectacle was made.

Sierra followed the owl

Sierra followed the owl curious as to know why it reminded her of him. Because of her anxiousness she tripped and scrapped her hand. Looking at her new wound the blood was oozing out slowly but surely.Finding a table near bye she put her sandwhich down and took out a scarf to cover her wound. Looking at the owl she chuckled you can have the rest she pointed to the sandwhich Im not hungry any more.

Jareth tilted his head in

Jareth tilted his head in amusement as Sierra rushed towards him, but hooted in surprise when she fell. He could see and smell the blood, but it wasn't serious, so he didn't move.
A hoot, curious and amused, as Sierra told him he could have the rest of her sandwich. An animal lover, perhaps?
Or maybe she recognised him subconsciously. The owl swept over to the table, pecking at the sandwich several times before deciding he really didn't like it and looking at Sierra, ruffling his feathers again. His head turned this way and that a few times as he tried to spot any signs of the men that had been following her.

Sierra was pleasently

Sierra was pleasently surprised when the owl flew over. After a few pecks at the sandwhich the little bird stopped. What you dont like it? she giggled. Sierra did indeed loved animals but this bird seemed to be like a familiar friend. Sierra looked around curiously to see if the men had followed her she did not see them but they could be hidden.Aghhh she sighed these really is bothersome.

The barn owl hooted. I know,

The barn owl hooted. I know, he thought, once again cursing himself for caring, because Jareth had a tendency to lose people he cared for, and since he was proud it was terrible to admit to himself that he did care. Sierra was his friend. It was nice, really...
It occurred to the owl that he might give himself away. Then he'd have to somehow explain to Sierra that he could turn into an owl. Thus far Chime, Tuna, and some of Tuna's friends were the only ones that knew about Jareth's real identity. He suspected that Thomas also knew, but Thomas hadn't given any indication.
He hooted again, wings fidgeting, irritated by the bewildered glances of other people.

Sierra cocked her head at the

Sierra cocked her head at the owl, well my little friend Ive thought of a name for you Jareth. Thats the name of a brave guy I met so carry it well my little friend ok. Sierra was about to reach over to stroke its head but refrained the bird seemed a little flustered and sacared best to not push it.

Had he been able to, Jareth

Had he been able to, Jareth would have grinned proudly at this, for he was, indeed, arrogant.
He tilted his head at Sierra; she seemed to have hesitated, about to do something but deciding not to at the last second.
Ignoring any stares he recieved, the owl flapped up and perched itself on Sierra's shoulder. Walk, he thought, though she couldn't hear him. You'll be allright if you walk; I can help you avoid them...

Sierra was surprised when the

Sierra was surprised when the owl perched on shoulder but didnt really mind. This little guy must want to get away from the other people she thought so standing up she picked up her suitcase and let it drag behind her ( it rolls)As she was walking she felt a little safer. You know that I guy I told you about I wonder what hes doing she whispered to the owl. You know he seemed a little stuck up but it turns out he was really actually nice. But I hope Sam will leave him be.

He hooted indignantly at her

He hooted indignantly at her comment about him being stuck up, but his feathers stopped ruffling when she 'redeemed' herself by saying he was actually nice. Had he been able to smirk he would have, knowing that Sam would not be able to bother him or Sierra again. He's sitting on your shoulder, dear.

Sierra took notice that the

Sierra took notice that the owl ruffled his feathers and laughed a little . You even act just like him she murmered. Sierra stopped walking at what apeared to be an abandoned dance studio. The building had boards across the windows. Out of curiousity she went to the back door of the building and luckily it oppened. Waliking in it looked like any other studio there was a bathroom in the next room. The flooring was wood with a mirror stretching from one side of the room to the next. Sierra sighed as she felt as ease a studio was like a second home to her.

* I hope he has the decency to keep his eyes from wandering down her shirt*

[ If he wasn't so focused

[ If he wasn't so focused elsewhere, then he'd have his head down there by now. B) ]

Jareth was not so at ease; everywhere he saw places that people could be hiding in. The mirror reflected himself and Sierra, and he hooted in amusement.

*lol* Sierra sensed the

*lol*

Sierra sensed the nevousness of the owl. Easy she cooed him its just an abandoned dance school she chided as she took her wig off. Hmm that feels better.
