Now if you do not want to I totaly understand. But ummm remeber the Rp when um Jareth was walking Sierra home and they found a note. Do want to continue cause I miss that little Goblin King.
He smiled dryly. "Just how hard did you hit your head?" He forced a chuckle, then shook his head. "What makes you think I did anything to Sam?" He was aware that he was answering Sierra's questions with more questions. A tactic, he guessed.
Look whose beeting around the bush she teased as she stretched. I feel fine . But you did not answer the first question. And a certain comment you made to those men makes me think you did something to Sam. So did you?
"I've no idea where you got that idea from, but I assure you I'm completely human," He forced another laugh. "And I saw you come in here, but I was talking to a friend." He lied easily.
Look if you dont wish to tell me thats fine but I do not appreciate being lied to. ooww she moaned as attempted to leave the room.Apparently she had an injury that was more serious than she thought.
Jareth completely ignored her first words after she groaned in pain, and was instantly by her side, half-dragging her back to the bed. "Lie down," He frowned. "Where does it hurt?"
His breath caught. "Ribs," He muttered. "Hospital." The quickest and safest solution would be to whisk her away to the Underground and get a healer, but there were two problems there. The first was that Sierra would no doubt wonder where she was and then Jareth would have to explain everything, and the second was that the High King really didn't like Jareth bringing people into the Underground randomly.
Jareth growled. "Balls." He winced mentally when he realised that the curse was something he'd picked up off of Tuna. The king pulled a peach seemingly from nowhere, holding it out to Sierra. "Eat this and eat it quickly. Trust me." It would make her fall asleep, and he could take her away and get her healed.
Sierra took the peach but the effort made her dizzy and she collapsed on the pillows moaning in pain. Jareth Im sorry I shouldnt have questioned........she tried to apologize but the pain was getting worse.
As soon as she'd gone limp, Jareth swept her carefully into his arms, and disappeared.
Hours later, he was sitting in an armchair in one of the many bedrooms of his castle, and Sierra's more dangerous injuries were healed. She'd been placed in the bed, with the covers over her, and Jareth had not left her side. The windows were locked shut and covered with curtains, the door was also locked. He couldn't risk her running out, because the High King might find her. It would be better if he never knew about this.
The Goblin King was very thankful that he had several healers around the castle.
He sighed, waiting for Sierra to wake up and guessing that he'd have to explain everything.
Sierra soon became consience and started stirring. Her pain was gone but before she checked her wounds. An anxious Jareth was at her side. Hello she said casually.
The room was neat. This particular one had cream sheets on the bed, a white carpet and cream walls, with wooden furniture. Jareth glanced around to make sure the windows were still covered. "You're welcome," He responded, standing up. His clothes were different; a black, collared cape, a white poet's shirt, black vest, grey pants, black boots. His hair was back in its usual state; long and wild, rather than in a ponytail. The king assumed that Sierra would have questions. He would try to answer them, but he did not want to let her see his goblins.
Feeling a little restless she stood up to walk around the floor was soft and comfortable to walk on.She noticed that all windows curtains were drawn. Feeling a sense of unease she went to the door to test the nob. It was locked. She turned her attention back to Jareth who had a curious but anxious gaze on her. Where are we she questioned?
One corner of his mouth pulled up into a half-smile. "The Underground, and it's not the train station." A sigh. "This is...my kingdom, I suppose. I'm a king." Despite his unease at telling her this, there was a hint of pride in his voice.
"It's the Goblin Kingdom," Jareth shrugged. "The High King is the..." He scowled at the mere thought of the High King. "'ultimate' king, if you will. And--" He was cut off by a series of high-pitched giggles and squeaks from outside the room. The king snarled. "SKIMP! KRAK!"
Tiny footsteps hurried away from the door.
"Blasted goblins."
Sierra giggled at Jareths reaction torwards the goblins. As she composed herself she said please continue in a rather serious manner surpressing a smile.
Sierra sighed I have plenty but I think they can wait until later. Actually I wouldnt mind meeting some of the goblins they cant be that bad.She gave a skeptical look to Jareth.
Jareth smiled dryly. "I didn't exactly foresee that I'd have to reveal everything to you, so there was no point in saying 'why yes, I am an owl, and this form is only a disguise'."
He chuckled at that. "I'd rather I was able to just trust that you won't go around screaming it at everyone," He shrugged. "I'll have to take you back, you're...well, not supposed to be here."
Jareth waved a hand dismissively, replying casually. "The healers" His tone was light. "They somewhat forced me out of the room while they did so....Your clothes are there. Well, clean versions of your clothes, anyway." He gestured to a pile of clothes atop a set of drawers.
Well if you would step out Ill change she said eyeing the door . And if you will thank the healers for me I would be much obliged. They did spetacular work curing me.
"Mm. As you wish," His lips quirked into a smile at the word 'wish', and he walked out of the bedroom, closing the door behind him. A woman whose face was hidden by her cloak inclined her head at him, as did the identical figure beside her. "Sierra is pleased with your work."
They murmered a thanks, and faded away.
Sierra was thankful to have a chance to think alone. Did she want to keep his secret and did she want to question him further. As these thoughts ran through her head she dressed into her regular clothes. But wait didnt Jareth say their was another king? Jareth she called knowing he was probably on the other side of the door.
His mouth had barely opened to reply when he smirked in amusement. "We'll delay that answer until you've eaten something. Come." And with that he was out of the door and heading down two flights of stairs -- there were many, many more leading upwards -- while barking orders at passing goblins. The creatures were hidden in shadow, and could not be viewed properly.
"It does," He confirmed, walking along a hallway. "SKIMP! GET THE BLASTED OVENS ON!" Jareth snapped loudly in the direction of the hidden-from-view kitchen. He pushed the double doors to the dining room open, to find that cutlery and such was already set at a rather large table. "Ah, Sierra?"
Jareth was now reading a note he'd pulled from seemingly nowhere. He spoke to the goblins without looking up. "Go make something. If it's disgusting, I'll bog you."
The tiny creatures squeaked and scurried off, returning several minutes later with a large plate of what appeared to be fried eggs and sausages and setting it infront of Sierra, then hurrying away.
"Most likely," Jareth agreed,
