1. what you need first is to imagine the size of the face you'd draw for it, cuz it goes proportionally to the body. The proportions are four heads in total (plus the head itself), so if you make an A4 head you'd need almost six A4 sheets
2. Head details: by a TEF face, you must divide it in three horizontal & equal parts and two in a single vertical line. In the first upper part draw the eyes and lights using the first line. In the second middle part draw the nose near the first line and the mouth using the second line. Ears must be at the region near the nose.
3. Ears: At natural form, the inner part looks to the front and in a vertical mood. To show fear, make them look down and in an horizontal mood. To show confusing, make one down and the other at natural.
4. Antlers: They are always in front of (or maybe between) the ears. look this image to have an idea of the structure.
5. Body: The shoulder blades from deers are big, and goes at a bit higher place in case of deers. From this reference, you can make the front legs (wider in male deer). The longest bone in the deers (at the backward legs) goes at the same size as the shoulder blades (but bigger and much muscular) and you can use them for reference to the backward legs. Every leg has three parts, divided with an elbow (at the upper part) and a knee (the last down part).
(Apart from the biggest leg, here is a little sketch i found.)
The parts are only to have an idea of the structure, not for drawing bone by bone, line by line :D
Go initially with natural poses from deers, when you can get a fear pose at a regular quality (you must practice to do that) go with other more mysterious ;D .
