Tonight I looked for beauty

“Tonight I looked for beauty…
I found it in the flowers….
I found it in the candles…
I found it in friends….
I found it in the snow….
However I did not find the beauty I searched for…
A beauty few appreciate…..
After all, beauty is in the eye of the beholder….
The Night is lovely…
The moon is bright…
I will continue to search for the beauty….
Perhaps I will find it…
Or perhaps not……….
Maybe I won’t find it tonight….
But I will find it again…
Then I can rest….
And my heart will be happy…..”
