This will be Endorianki's Official Question Blog.

1. I see all these wonderful, realistic drawings posted on the site. I can't scan anything since my printer lied about including scan services, and I know some of you just make the pictures on the computer. How? - answered

2. Can it snow while it's summer over here? Endo really wants to see it snow D: - answered

3. I read a blog where somebody suggested 'playing as an administrator.' And they also mentioned 'Do you have Visa?' As in the computer or credit card? And how does one play as an administrator if they looked all over the screen for that check box? -answered

4. Somebody gave my friend, Yuissy-Cloventail the Day of the Dead mask, antlers, and pelt. How did they? And I think she mentioned they were minature.

5. Is it still possible to download earlier versions of TEF?- answered

6. Spelldata- Ive heard about people being able to send spelldata. If so....does that mean someone could send me something like the skull mask or crying mask? Not that Im actually asking for them, just asking if it could be done. And if so...basics? Rundown on spelldata? -answered

7. I keep on hearing stuff about 'tablets'. What are they, and where do you get them? I imagine them as a tablet that you draw on and color on and the image gets transferred to the computer automatically. Please correct me, though! Smiling -answered-

8.And enlighten me upon the mysteries of Photoshop CS3, where everyone seems to be making awesome art! Where, how, what, and why? -answered-

9. I've seen ...dunnotheirname. But they just had to stand beneath a willow tree, and they rose up into the air exactly onto a branch, and when they fell asleep they still stayed on the branch in the air. ....I can air sit, not perfectly, takes me a ton of tries, and I air-danced ONCE.
..So how do I do that levitating thing? I've seen you do it too, Eyerys! -answered-

10. I've figured out how to air-dance and air sleep but not levitate upwards..but this question is: I recently downloaded TEF v. 3.21 on my new Vista computer. I was able to log in to my account on it,but no players showed up; their symbols were all jumbled up at the bottom and they don't unjumble. Also, when I tried to put in Mordred's spelldata, it didn't work. I just showed up as a neked deer. -problemsolved-

11. Any good free, non virus recorders I can download? I tried hypercam but it doesnt work. So how could I begin with making my first TEF video? (I do have windows movie maker, but it doesnt do recording)
-answered-

12. Could someone help me? I've made a new fawn, Deliliah, and I'd like someone to play as her. Unforunately I have already laid out the very basics of her personality, but you could change things around a bit.

13. Say I download version 2 of TEF. Will my deer show up as transparent to others? What about to myself? And does spelldata work for a Vista comp. when using version 2?

And thanks to answers for previous questions.

2. I've never seen snow in summer...
3. Uhhhh....

1. You can make art on

1. You can make art on programs like Paint, or the site Iscribble which has a lot of TEFers on it, and there are other sites out there where you can draw. c:

2. Yes. The creators of this game change it to snow whenever they feel like it, I don't think they judge on what the season is in real life.

3. I don't understand this question, sorry. :c

4. They were playing an earlier version of TEF. With the earlier version, you can cast the DOTD set.

1 and 2 are already

1 and 2 are already answered, so I'll answer 3 and 4.

3. Vista. Not Visa. As in the version of Windows. If you have Windows XP, don't worry about this. But if you have Vista, then in order for saving and using spelldata to work, you need to play the game as administrator. To do this, right-click on the Forest icon on the desktop, and choose "run as administrator". It'll start up the same, but spelldata saving will work.

4. Spelldata is saved in a file called "SpellData" in the userdata folder of the game. Someone got the DotD set in-game at some point and saved a copy of the SpellData file, then probably sent it as an attachment in an email to your friend.

5. The earlier versions are still available online somewhere, but I don't remember where the list is. It's somewhere on The Shady Grove forum, though. I wonder if anyone has the link to it...

3. Logging in as an administrator is something you do on your computer, not TEF. There are no such things as TEF admins.

4. Yes it is possible if you have a much older version of the game, witch I believe you can down load from the forums.

6. I've been told how to do it but it's never worked for me.

2. Actually, I saw it snow once, last week or something. At least I think it was snow. There wasn't any on the ground, though.

7 - Correct, I believe. --

7 - Correct, I believe.

:.Updates.:

7 - Yes you can draw on

7 - Yes you can draw on tablets and the image is transferred to your computer. But there are 2 different types of tablets in my mind. Those that show what you're drawing on the tablet itself and the ones that only show it on the computer monitor. Mine is like the second. Also on some you have to have certain tools (like a certain pen etc) to be able to use it (like mine >> and I lost my pen >.<) and some with a touchscreen (DO WANT)... yeah.

----------------------------------------------

^To my Updates! See who's online!^

7: You've got the idea

7: You've got the idea right. The average type of tablet works in that you have a pressure sensitive pen which you press against a censored pad. The tablet records the pens movements and pressure, sending them to your computer, allowing you to control the mouse cursor as you could a pencil. This allows for a more natural drawing style when coloring or drawing digitally, hence why most people prefer tablets to mouses.

You can get them from certain companies, for example mine is from Wacom. A good tablet is not cheap, but I would advise against getting a cheap one because they are..well, cheap. Riddled with issues, I would be sure to shop around before buying!

8: There are many programs you can use for art on the computer, and they all depend upon how you draw. If you are just starting out and don't want to fork over cash, I'd advise you try OpenCanvas (known loosely as oC) which has many of the basic features of Photoshop. While oC isn't good for photo manipulations, it works well for drawing and coloring.

On a foggy (I think. Maybe misty) day not too long ago (perhaps a week?), deer were able to cast this set. I remember a few people getting it that day. However, I don't think you can get it from regular spell-casting currently (just spell-data).

Thank you, then! I'll see what I can get for Christmas then....though I'd rather get the tablet with the pen, I'm an --- at drawing with fingers and touchscreen n'all.

Ya..

5. Yes, I have downloaded

5. Yes, I have downloaded the following versions;
1.5, 2.00, 3.00, 3.10 and ofcourse 3.21...
Most of them are to be found at GamersHell.com
I think I've seen some at Gamespot too, and... XDXDXD
Uh, you can find them pretty much anywhere, any game sites.

9. You may see the other

9. You may see the other deer levitating upwards, but they don't see themselves doing it. That's how they get into the "spot" they want because they don't see themselves on the ground before they levitate upwards, they see themselves in the spot they want to be in. That's why, when you may see other deer "flying" they kind of bounce up and down from the ground to the air. They see themselves flying directly in a straight line, not bouncing up and down Sticking out tongue

I hope that helped!

8. I use CS4...>.> Photoshop

8. I use CS4...>.>
Photoshop is a very expensive program. But there are ways to get it for free, though these generally involve pirating. >.> Also, you can legally install the program from one disk onto three different computers at a time. This is how I got CS4, actually. My sister was taking some digital art course, and got a free copy for it.
There are other programs, however, as mentioned previously. Actually I think Open Canvas is pretty different from Photoshop, and can be hard to get used to. And, it's really not free, technically. You can get it for free, but it's not supposed to be free...unless you're using a free trial or something.
I have heard about a program called GIMP that is supposed to be fairly similar to Photoshop, and is free. I don't know much about it. But you could just Google it.

10. It could just be a server issue. The thing with the pictograms supposedly happens when the server isn't connecting properly. Or it could be your internet. You could try "run as administrator," but it sounds more like a connection problem to me, rather than a problem with Vista. Still, you could try it anyway, and see if it helps.
