My grandmother's garden club has a Japanese garden near where my school is. While it's not in bloom right now (which I'm going to go back by near the spring to see it again), there were some pretty fall colors there:
I think I took some photos of Three Mile Creek on my college's campus, but here's some more photos for you:
Here's the Glenn Sebastian Nature Trail. No wildlife sadly, but it is very serene and I enjoy walking it from time to time:
Here's Three Mile Creek again, but from a different area.
(Not quite open yet, but soon! Feel free to drop a first post for any character that's up, and I'll respond once I have enough muse/time. <3)
You see a doe, black and white in body, silver in mane. She stands taller than the average doe, on legs built like stilts. While normally bouncing around and jumping at every chance to party or otherwise exert nearly infinate levels of energy, she currently stands still, head bowed over the pond's surfice. A koi pokes it's head out, and seems to speak, though it's words are inaudible to the normal ear. She speaks back, smiling and laughing, clearly understanding the words of the fish.
The words of wisdom passed threw centuries.
Distract her?
A rare sight, this one had become. Silvery gray, with antlers like licked candycanes. He sits in the birch forest, gentle red eyes staring up at the starlit sky. How long had it been since he was last spotted?
Approach slowly...
Unless you knew him before.
He might dissappear...
A familiar figure to the ruins. The ancient gravekeeper.
Once dead, alive again.
Ever toiling, he uproots weeds with his hooves, though the stress of the action increases the flow of blood spilling from his shackled fetlocks. Six cimson eyes glance in varied direction, never seeming to focus on one thing at a time.
He may not bite. Do you seek the wisdom of an ancient?
Do you risk a presence with the Cursed Demon?
He rests beside the calm stream, which flows from the tears of an idol.
Cold yellow eyes remain closed, though the moon can be clearly seen from where he sits, half full in the dark night sky.
Icy blue fur seems to nearly shine in the pale moonlight. Combined with the absolute stillness, the emptiness of the air around him, he almost seems ghost-like.
For the moment, he is alone. Just himself, and the lunar body.
:-)I was just a wondering if you could make a pic. of my deer for me. I would love it if trigger made one for me..Or even Kaoori! I just love Kaoori's art! I just a wonderin if anyone could draw me one. I would be happy if anyone would. Thanks!
I just realized and .... I suppose I am wondering.... ARE THERE ANY ACTUAL MALES ON THIS SITE?
Maybe it is just ingrained in our female nature to be more drawn to this sort of relaxing, care free, artistic game.... but every person I've gone to's profile has been a female!
Not that i particularly care or anything (love you ladies). I just found it kind of funny XD
Any dudes, stags, bucks, etc. Feel free to comment and prove me wrong!
There is a contest at my school called "The Circle of Life". I was thinking of drawing a deer with the world cradled in its antlers, like the deer running through space was the reason the earth orbited "The Circle of Life". Should I do it?
If I do, I'll post the picture of it in my next picture blog.
As I feel a bit bored with my doe's appearance I want to make some rebrandind=)
And I'm sooo uncertain
I want to keep the same antlers (peacock) (btw I lost them accidentally so unfortunate I am )
But I want to change the mask and pelt... Which ones can suit the feathers?
Can you give me some advice?
p.s. i won't be surprised if i'll leave everything the same. i'm changeable as weather
