I awoke inside a large hollow tree. The wolves were gone but, I'm not sure why I'm here. There was a leaf filled with water and a pile of lush grass next to me. I sniffed it wondering why it was there. Suddenly I saw large antlers moving in. It was Stone, he came back with a wolf tooth necklace on his antler. "You!" I cried out. "Get away from me!" I was starting to get up when I realized blood was dripping from my back leg. I slowly sat down again and watched the blood drip down my leg. "W-What happened?" I asked stunned. "Wolves." he replied. I looked at the blood again. "Why do they do this?" I asked disgusted "Food that's why." He said calmly. "Why is my name Skittywolf anyway, Wolves are nothing like me." I said looking down. He started to smile, I could tell he was trying not to laugh. "Wolves are much more than you think they are." He said wisely (Not that was wise or anything). He started toward me. Then he bent down and, gently set the wolf tooth necklace around my neck. I looked at it with anger. "Please take it off." I asked trying not to show anger. "It looks good on you." He said with a smile. Stone seemed pleased with himself. I looked at it and, got an idea: Maybe deer will think I killed a wolf. I smiled a little. "I'll keep it I guess." I said feeling smart. "Well we should be going now." he muttered under his breath. "Now?" I asked confused. He didn't answer. Stone got up and headed out. "But what ab-"
I cut off noticing the blood that was on my leg was gone. Not even a scar was there. It was like nothing had ever happened. I stared stunned. "Coming?" He asked teasing. I broke my eyes away from my leg and, started to follow him. "Can't we go later? It's the middle of the night." I said a little scared "it's fine. Don't worry so much." He said as if he were ignoring everything around him. I looked around for danger knowing he wasn't even going to bother helping.
