Well, yesterday I had a cold ( still do ) so I ended up playing TEF for a few hours, turns out my computer can handle it mostly in downtime xD Honestly I was surprised nobody sided with my on my opinion, so if I was wrong I was going to consider trying tef again. It for some reason struck me that someone said tef was like yoga; so I played tef and was like yoga... yess.... 5 hours of Tef and cough drops put me in an art coma for the rest of the night. This is one of 4 pictures I was working on, it had a background but I thought it took away from the focus.

Anyways this is a mock up of an idea I had before falling asleep to a congested headache. Basically its a deer set using only textures of the natural forest- I figured it'd be pretty easy to make. I painted the pelt badly, but what I imagined was the spackling of soft gentle glows the floor of the forest emits : ) Starting with the mask, the face of the crying idol. Above it a tiara of pink flowers and blue berries and bright green sprits of grass and weeds. The horn set being two crooked moss covered birch trees. The tears of the idol spill into the neck and chest, making the pond. The nape of the neck and such making up the light green yellow colors of the pond's surrounding grass. The ridge of the back would be the colors of the old oak perhaps. Then the front and top half of the body being the shadier half of the forest, rich green with deep blue and sunny yellow spackles, suddenly turning into the hazy red, orange, and yellow of the farther forest. The legs make up some of the textures of the trees, such as those lovely painty peach orange trunks of the farther forest, and the rough dark brown textures of the nearer forest.

I just thought the textures of the forest were too beautiful to not express ^^ I hope you enjoy it : )
