Rou's Training

The weather was perfect, the sky was clear and the sun was shining down through the trees. Rou stopped on the giant rock overlooking a specific area ahead of her. "What're we doing today, Farron?'" She asked, her voice strong, timid and confident. The young doe looked back at the buck, who approached the edge of the rock more slowly, though his eyes sparkled through the skull mask he wore, the sun glittering off of his fleshy, crimson red antlers and catching off the odd zombie pelt he wore.
"Well, my young friend," he began, looking down at her. Rou knew he was smiling wide as he stood beside her. "Today is the day I teach you to look, listen and smell what is all around you. These are important skills for when you become an adult. They will help you track and find deer you know more easily than if you were to just listen."

Rou gave an excited bounce before she settled herself at Farron's side. She couldn't wait until she became an adult, though she enjoyed being a fawn. Calming herself down, the young doe watched Farron and copied him exactly, her ears alert as she strained to listen. It seemed like, now that she was focusing on one thing, all the sounds of the forest flooded into her ears. She was able to single out several sounds, like the birds singing high in the trees and the faint rustle of the leaves above her head. After what seemed like forever, Rou blinked and looked up at the buck. "I don't feel anything." She said, her voice sounding rather disappointed. Farron stayed silent for a moment longer before he lifted his head a little higher than it currently was.
"Deer playing near the ruins." He said, his voice strong and steady. Rou gave him a confused look as she glanced toward the ruins.
"How do you know?" She asked simply, looking back up at him.

Farron gave a shrug as he allowed his foreleg to drop from its raised position. "I can hear them, and feel them playing in my hooves.

And the final ref design for Cremello.

60% Sitka Deer
40% Cremello Horse

Her horse traits are her tail and mane, along with her back hooves. She can short and whinny like a horse also, and in the event she has to flee danger, she can run fast enough and long enough to escape.

Tiivad Deer Form Reference

x.x Mist kills me. So do frontal shots. Oh well.

This is Tiivad's deer form. He is pretty much a shadow/mist stag. He shapeshifts into this form when in tight spaces that can't be flown in or to travel fastly when grounded.

I'll get a story going about him and this'll make more sense.

Maia Maia Maia

My best friend's puppy broke her leg last week after a bad fall; so now she is stuck in a silly pink cast that's covered in hearts. c:
So, I decided to draw her something to make her feel better and thought it was cute enough to share to everyone.

And here is the silly girlie with her adorable pink cast.
HAHA.

Maia is a 9month old Lab/Husky mix.

Bebe Ally

Concept for Baby Alabaster (since hes still a fawn in the forest, but I won't be playing him IC until he's bigger) since hes based on a Lammergeier and thus brown as a youngling.
I used too much brown when shading oops.

Tiivad Reference

w00t! This is my raven character named Tiivad. I will definetly make a story for him, he's quite interesting. He'll be on a different account of mine once the fawn has reached adulthood. I suck at shading, so that's why he's pretty flat, but I may or may not attempt that later.

This was made in GIMP.

BAGAWK? BAWK BOK BOK BAGAWK!

bohhhhk..

Metis, with an image.

Finally, a more-or-less fleshed out character picture. I realize the anatomy isn't great, but it was high-time to get my little deer brain-child to paper. Done in graphite because I have next to no skill for colors.

A little bit about Metis...

Metis is marked after a spotted owl. She features a crown of feathers in place of antlers, as well as having patches of feathers on her tail, rump, and shoulders. When she can be coaxed to come out of the underbrush, these feather patches makes it easy to read how she is feeling. Generally speaking, if frightened or startled, the patches of feathers on her rump and tail will puff up. When angry, irritated, or annoyed, she will slick down the feathers on her head, while fluffing up the feathers on her shoulders. When content, relaxed, and happy she is simply fluffy all over. Her markings make it easy for her to simply melt into the underbrush and hide. Her eyes are extremely dark colored - so dark, that most simply think them to be black - but if you were to look at them carefully in the sunlight, you'd see the left eye is a dark green, and the right eye is a deep purple.

She is based after, and is the size of a small black-tail deer doe. She isn't very big (About 3 feet at the shoulder), and can be quite skittish around larger deer (Bit of backstory, there). Once convinced to come out of the underbrush to talk, she can be quite friendly and downright silly.
