"Burrow!" His call rang out as a saddened, monstrous roar, his gray body felt limp as his disgusting, half-dead face distorted in fear.
"I call...And I call...." The monster finally allowed his body to slump down into the hill where they used to play. He understood, that, he would never hear his friend's..his brother's...his father's call. Never the less, see his face. Burying what was left of his face into the dirt, his mourning left him helpless, pitiful, vunerable...like a newborn fawn without it's mother.
"But..you'll...never...answer.." His miserable cry wandered from between his crocodile-like teeth.
"You stopped me! You...stopped...me from....cursing the... Gods for... taking him ...away! Who are you? Your a...like a...blank....in my mind." He hacked out the words to the deer who stood shaking his head and nuzzling him. What was he? Some misunderstood fawn? I think not!
"My...My friend...I sometimes...wish...I had not...made the...trek...back to the...forest..." He fretted, his one-eye clouded in sorrow.
He later collasped by himself, his body shaken with one of the most important stags in his life...
