Monster is a chupacabra, which is why he hasn't got any molars; he doesn't need to chew his food, being sustainable on blood alone.

His outer teeth are for grip alone, though his canines are hollow and excrete a special sedative produced by a gland at the back of his mouth. This is because he usually targets sleeping animals that he would very much like to keep that way, seeing as he is relatively weak aside from a powerful kick, which is his primary way of defence.

He is part coyote and born severely malformed, his eyes too big for his skull. Loosing one was actually a relief for him, seeing as it was pressing in on his brain. He lost it in a storm when a metal bar nearly pierced his head.

He can't very well close his remaining eye because of its size, which has left it partially blind. He mostly sees things in sense of shadows, so bright sunlight leaves him almost completely blind.

His mane and tail are an effect of his coyote-genes. Had he not had them, he would have been completely hairless, just like any other member of his species.

He has never seen another chupacabra and does not know that he is one himself.
