Some ideas:
Male, young adult.
Nervous, Shy, Soft-Spoken, Gentle, a tad paranoid.
Always jumpy and easily startled.
When frightened he locks up and can't move.
Enjoys sitting and leaning against trees, for some reason that calms him down.
He likes things that are smaller than him, like bunnies and squirrels. However, fawns that run up to him tends to make him panic a little.
