She is indeed based on Rapunzel from the fairytale, Rapunzel, however I sort of made my only translation-version of it XDD But I believe Rapunzel is more than just a fan-girl of that fairytale. She has developed into someone much more than a TEF character for me. I really do love Mariposa, she is very lovely.

In the old days of the Forest, Walter/Demon was a stag not to be trifled with. Other deer angered him at their own peril, and most stags lost to him in bloody battles.
