Police were at the mushroom circle near the Ruins on Sunday night to investigate a strange disappearance. They found two large zombie antlers and a ruffled up green luchador mask laying in the circle.
"No doubt about it. That had to have been Quad's mask and antlers.", says Fledermaus, one of Quad's close friends. "That was his favorite tree, too, so it had to have been his."
And in a shocking development, an eyewitness caught the crime in the act:
"There was a lookout while the others took turns eating him.", says Fayne, who was shocked at the incident. "Seriously, I couldn't believe it when I saw it. Well, at least the fawns had a healthy meal."
While the identities of the fawns have yet to be determined, a funeral service has been planned for Quad. His mask and antlers are planned to be buried by the pillar at the Ruins where he always slept.
"May he rest in peace...in those fawns' tummies...", Fledermaus says.
And yes, this is a joke. Quad is not dead.
