THIS TOOK FOREVER. ;A;
*takes a deep breath*
It started off, blending two screenshots and a background together and using Shimmy's tut.
I'm kinda pleased with the outcome. *brick'd*
Melusine hates rain because it'll tie in with some fear she has with water, which will tie in with a plot I wanna get going but its secret right now haha.
(But the white deer doesn't have anything to do with it... or does it? :\ )
I should go to sleep now. xD

My interpretation of this:

My interpretation of this: Melusine was frolicking with her friends deep in a thicket when it starts to rain, light at first, but progressively getting harder. Almost blinded by the downpour, Her group gets caught in a vicious stag fight. One of her friends stumbled close to one of the fighters and the stag charged, thinking it was his opponent. The doe went down, stunned by the impact. She didn't mean to do it, but caught up in a flurry of revenge and anger, Melusine strikes out with a fatal force. Ashamed and appalled by what she had done, she fled into a clearing. Pausing for one second, she lifts her head to the rumbling heavens. As the sky is illuminated by a bolt of lightning, a misty image comes into focus for a split second. The god of the twin statues gazes sadly at Melusine before vanishing into the darkness.

So, when they say a picture is worth a thousand words, they are probably right.

Goodness, this is absolutely incredible! I can't even begin to describe how powerful this image is, or how wonderful~!
The lighting you chose looks veryvery intense, a perfect fit for what you are trying to portray! I love how you chose to highlight the deer in the foreground with a tiny bit of white to help further this idea.
And is that kanji on their antlers? Forgive me, as I don't know the character, but it looks pretty awesome!
Also, the foreground deer's stance is a spectacular capture! And since you added in that beautiful shade of blue to their eyes, it really makes them 'pop'!
I wish I could list everything I love about this edit, but it would go on forever, haha~!
Keep up the fantastic work! I look forward to see where you go with your edits, if you continue to do them~! <3 And I hope you do!

@ashbird: I feel honoured to have a whole back story! Thank you so much! I love that interpretation, I think I’ll include it into a story, hopefully with a group of some people. |D Your story was really well written and I liked the drama effect, because it ties in with her personality really well and I imagine she’ll be very guilty at doing something like that because it doesn’t just pass over her like it would to another deer. Shocked
