She was a really difficult, but fun project. Lots of mistakes were made, lots of things were learned. I think I figured out how hair is inserted the best way, and long live tiny mini paint brushes. Oh yes. And working with minky on a puppet.
Aaaaaaaa.
I knew it'd fold. So I had to prevent that as much as possible. Dang. Oh well.
She is fully poseable, the clay parts being Super Sculpey and the fur is minky. Which is really messy to work with. These pictures were unfortunately done in bad light.. Taking pictures in the darksucks XD
But here they are anyway!
I could not find a good location. Suuch a shame.
Ended up back in my room on my bed. XD

Added Mato in the shots. Because he's a creeper. Actually he's in most of my in-progress shots as he hides beneath my monitor. So it was fitting to put him in here too.

This is by far the best puppet you have made, I can understand why you would miss her. Id take her with me when I visit next year but that would be so risky.
I love everything you have done, although at times she went through some hardships (POOR BURNT FACE) you cant even tell. Her face is so striking and cute. Ahhhhh. Baby cute. Mum would be so proud (YOU AND MUM)

Ah dear you are way too sweet XD Hugest compliment is someone asking to get one for themselves too. But I'm afraid I'm going to have to dissapoint you for now.. They sound like fun to do, and maybe one day I'll figure out a way to make them quicker. But until then I fear they'd be either very expensive, or I will make a loss on them. I tried in the past to make them commissionable, and I don't regret doing so, but I have to refrain from them for now XD
I also have a huge list of things I want to do. Well "huge". Next up is Verve, and then there have been whispers of collaborration projects with some other fancy artists. And I might be having a freelance animation job soon so ack, I couldn't make the promise anytime soon! You're very kind wanting to commission something like that for your friends though

Oh! Awesome! I’d love to see! Well, urrrr. You and I are not really in the same part of the world. But I might have a website. This is an etsy shop that ships from the US. Actually, on Etsy it’s quite easy to search for fabrics too.
Otherwise, google is your friend! I get my faux fur from dutch shops, since otherwise I get poor from shipping alone.
On other tips, that’s difficult to say. If you run into any problems, feel free to contact me and I’ll try to tell you what I know! I also made progress-pictures of two of my projects. First one here, and the second one here. Those might be useful. Otherwise, super sculpey > fimo for faces/antlers etc. It’s just stronger. Fimo is good for bones though. It’s cheaper >_> For me at least.
