The female leader walked in front of Djinn and her mother. The little fawn didn't know what she should think. Her mother was upset but has to follow the rules and trotted behind the leader.

"Afraid?"

"Of Course not!"

After a while they could see the tip of trees from a new forest. An very old one. The children of the herd weren't allowed to go to this forest. Only the female leader was allowed to bring them here. But before they could reach the forest a young teenage doe stood in front of them.

"That's not fair mum! Why is Djinn allowed to go into this forest and I'm not?! She is way younger!"

The leader didn't say anything she just waited for the mother to scold the young doe.

"Jun. It's not my choice..If I could I wouldn't let Djinn in there either."

The brown teenage doe walked to her mother and pressed herself into her mother's fur. The leader took Djinn with her and they went to the entrance of the forest.
Djinn looked back to her mother and her sister. They both just starred, Djinn could swear she saw her mother crying.

"Listen young one. Your journey will start now. As soon as you enter the forest your pelt will change and you will get a very colorful look. You will meet new people but don't be afraid. One day your sister will follow."

"Colorful? New people? And what's with mother?"

"Your mother already was in the forest. And as you see she returned, so will you."
"Now go."

Djinn took a few steps forward and looked back and could already just see the silhouette of the other doe. She kept walking and suddenly she found herself near a pond. The young fawn watched other deer. Blue ones, green ones. All colors. When she looked down she just saw the same brown tone she already has. Disappointed but still excited she walked around the pond. Afraid of the others and the weird looking masks. Djinn cowered near a tree and started to cry. This new world was too much for her. Suddenly a warm creature came to her and nudged the young fawn.

"Hello my little one. My name is Dajhi. Don't be afraid♥"
