there's a lady who's sure, all that glitters is gold
and she's buying a Stairway to Heaven
STAIRWAY
Introductions
the young one goes by the name of Stairway
and his soul is bare for all to see
arrived, he did, on the fresh wings of yesterday
just him, his name, and me
Appearance
a fragile thing, soft-furred, with an angular face
eyes of both parents; blue with sparks of copper
nothing but a deer, a young fawn for now
no fancy tricks and no interesting additions
he speaks the truth
Personality
I have seen him to be...
+ curious
+ thoughtful
+ free
+ truthful
But then, I also know that he can be...
- mistrusting
- moody
- selfish
- kleptomaniac
- reclusive
- disobedient
Relationships
The Keeper.
I am his guardian. His guide. And I will let no harm come to him.
The Slender Man.
A beast! Monstrosity! Surely not, surely not, the youngling is not so foolish...
and as we wind on down the road,
our shadows taller than our soul
there walks a lady we all know
who shines white light and wants to show
how everything still turns to gold
and if you listen very hard
the tune will come to you at last
when all is one and one is all
to be a rock and not to roll
Such a kindly child! To offer
Sweeping, pulsating antlers coat the fawn's body. Curious and exploring.
It plays with her, offering a friend that no other adult deer can see.
As they sit together, it dips a tendril into the reddish clay, raising it to draw a curious symbol onto the fawn's forehead.
A circle with an 'X'
The Slender Man has mraked its newest target.
( I can honestly say that
A stranger to the forest, the fawn is oblivious to the sinister nature of the creature.
It knows only that it wishes to have antlers just like its new 'friend' possesses.
Sniffing, the fawn rubs his head against the chest of the 'deer', trying to rid itself of whatever has just been marked onto him.
The first friend Stairway thinks he has made in this Forest is this.
His Keeper does not dare approach - but fumes, invisible, and worried for the safety of the fawn.
It dosen't matter if the fawn
It does not intend to harm the small creature.
If anything, the fawn is nothing more than a toy to it's amuesment.
And eventually
Toys are thrown away.
That won't be for long time, though. For now, the fawn is safe.
The Slender Man will watch him.
(He often does that to people, yes.)
The fawn feels an unfamiliar
The Keeper is calling.
He pushes his head into the Slender Man's chest again, this time affectionate.
"Thankyou!"
So naive.
The fawn curls into a tight ball, and fades away.
It knows what is happening.
At the gesture, it places an 'antler' onto the fawn's head, patting it.
It watches him leave.
And then it's gone itself, evaporating into the air to search for new playmates.
Sorry to interupt you guys,
You're so sweet sdfkjh
Track! c:
Tracking this just because
Uhm... Yeah... xD
Sorry for the randomness... :3 This very interesting though... I shall keep my eyes peeled.
A young, ebony crow by the name of Carae smacks the ground, plagued by exhaustion. She noticies a fawn in the distance of the black night. She freezes. "Do not... Hurt me..." Her eyes droop, sleep slowly taking over. The message never reaches the fawn, for Carae is a mute and cannot speak. Only can think, and hope that the message is clear. She looks at the fawn one last time before she can stay awake no longer...
