I got inspired by this spider to create a spider-ish concept set. I didn't feel like doing it digitally so, here you go... (Yes I know it only has six legs but let's ignore that for the sake of fitting the dang things on there...)
Hooray, fellow spider fan! I love your idea, especially the mask. I had an idea for a spider deer a while back but I think you pulled it off better with all those legs.
Oh you flatter me. I think there's a lot you could do with spideer... climbing and stuff. If you stick with the cobalt blue tarantula the character could even burrow like they do. It's sad that the prettiest species usually live underground, are super anxious, or both.
Indeed... If I were to make her a char I'd probably name her Araneae (latin for spider) and I imagine she'd be a reclusive weaver, spinning silk into patterns to tell stories and such.
