Albinism, while rare, is a genetic anomaly which causes the skin to completely lose pigmentation, and can show up every few generations if an animal has albino ancestors. What happened with this fawn is similar to conjoined or Siamese twins, which only has a 1 in 50, 000 to 1 in 100, 000 chance of happening. Albinism has a 1 in 17, 000, which means it's much more likely to happen.
