I used Adobe Photoshop cs3, but Gimp would work as well!
I just had the layer under it transparent, and then used to lasso tool to go around the edges of the deer, and then delete the part i have selected. :B Hope that helps!

Discovered something new about her- if she sees something "weak" in trouble, she protects it. Guess it reminds her of (you guessed it) herself. So you might see her wandering a bit. She still has a tiny bit of respect for 88 (now that she's calmed down a bit) and doesn't want to see her attacked.
