Roleplay/Visual Interaction Blog
Sitting around playing with monotonous homework and figured I could use something to keep me awake. I require literacy and a wordcount of at least 100 characters, or else it really doesn't do it for me. Gotta enforce that.
Some characters are as follows:
Abseilen
O |
Bii
O |
Bright Eyes
O |
Cameo
O |
Tatata
O |
Thatch
O |
As this is meant to be a quick thing, I'm not going to attempt to explain each character here. Besides, can't it be fun to play with a character you don't know?
Sure it can.
[for kaoori] Still. Night.
Still.
Night.
The strange night that only this forest could present.
Their world becomes only the slightest bit dimmer, and it seems as if ever creature knows it should be slowing to a stop.
Stop.
That's what he did.
The crackle of sore joints sang when the bird creature threw himself down and his throat followed suit, letting loose a delighted, deep growl that cut off so that he could snap at bits of the tall grass that weaved in and out of his vision. For all the birch forest was disliked, no one could deny it was perhaps the best place for resting, filled with nesting material...
He was high on one of these birch hills, one of the few that overlooked the more lush forest below. A nice few, a wide view. And what's a view without something to watch? His wildly bright eyes flickered over the land, sorted through the deer below for an individual that might be considered interesting. Quite quickly, his focus settled around a small lapis lazuli doe who...he believed he had seen before.
He settled low there in the grass, eyes growing lazy as he watched her.

The nervous blue stag moved silently around the forest.
It was night time and his blonde curls and blue tear-like-strips had started to glow now that it was closer to Hallowseve. His small structure -lined with golden bells that whistled as he moved- crawled carefully about.
Everything about this weather and time of day made him nervous. He kept looking around paranoid, thinking he was hearing his name being called. Little whispers tickled his ears and his nose shook with the rancid smell.
"Hello..?"
I'll RP with my doe, Roe. You
But hey! I'll start!!
A small mule deer doe sat ruminating by the great oak. The large tree was her favorite place to relax. The soft hum from the tree was calming to the doe and the nearby flowers carried their scent to her on every breeze. The doe's grey eyes were nearly closed as she day-dreamed.
Her large ears flicked foreward at the sound of a deer approaching. She stopped chewing and raised her head slightly, sniffing at the air, trying to nose the deer. She didn't sense a threat so she continued with her mouthfull of grass.
She could feel someone
As much as her fur rose, she could not sense danger from the shadow that had passed and now sat nearby. Perhaps it wasn't threatening after all-- she'd seen this raven with other deer, and even fawns who climbed on him playfully.
She caught that fiery gaze and held it with her own.
[Kasmir and Ickydog] Ohwow,
Ohwow, thank you both so much. ._. I'm getting ready for bed fairly soon, but I'll be sure to reply to both your posts as soon as I can. Thankyouthankyou.

The sight of that little night-bright face turned to him...
A quiet, rough laugh rolled from his mouth. He pulled his forelegs beneath him, shoved himself up into a sitting position, wings shifting as he did. The laugh cut off suddenly as his beak snapped open-
"-Doedeer!" His voice was...decidedly unexpected. High and wild, boarder-lining hysterical- not a crow's voice at all. But it was a voice that carried easily; she could hear it so easily, nevermind the distance. "Doe...ye, ye you, deer!" A pause while he snickered to himself. "What staring at, kek? What...watching Bir'head for?"
Someone had an affinity for trouble.
Kaoori's ears flattened back
"think you were staring at me first, mister crow. You don't have to yell. Why don't you come over here if you want to talk?"
She really hoped this wouldn't be a mistake.

[Kao]
His snickering was louder this time, and he buried his face in the thick grass to stifle it. "So funny[/i], doedeer, ye...[/i]" He straightened, seemed to regain himself. "Ye, ye Bir'head come down there..."
Wide, dark wings like blades from a springloaded knife snapped from his sides, he pushed himself upward with a good amount of force...
Since he was higher, it took little effort at all to simply glide down. Talons scraped the ground as he grew nearer, tearing little lines into the soft dirt until he was so low he transitioned to walking instead. The wings stretched lazily, shaking the dirt off, before folding back against his sides.
A chuckle, seemingly pleased with himself, before his attention turned entirely to the little doe.
They didn't call him 'bright eyes' for nothing. The stare he locked on her seemed like it could have cut through cold iron.

An unseen canine called from the distance, seemed to answer him with its melancholy song, and two glistening eyes rasped irritatedly at him from a branch to his immediate left, before darting away silently...
...two small candles burst to life from a fern at the base of the tree, casting warm light out in a wide circle around them. Beneath them, two equally warm, dark eyes flicked around in panic, searching for the source of the horrible sound that had been heard. They stopped their search quite suddenly, drawn by the candlelight on the buck's bright bells.
Groggy and now forced awake, the little fawn was staring up at him with an expression that only a terrified child could make. He made no sound, no movement. Simply stared.

It seemed to take the deer a bit longer then it should have to climb over the hill, to make itself seen. But as soon as it did, its reason became apparent: An obviously injured leg of some kind. The doe held it off the ground and close to her chest while the others worked to move her forward in a sort of hopping motion.
It went on like this for several steps, each hop sending muscles rippling beneath her striped skin, before she had made it to the bright sunspot nearby. She laughed, and all four legs collapsed beneath her, sending her tumbling down onto the warm ground. "Ah.." Her head pitched back, a look of determination and satisfaction locked into her features, perhaps to overwhelm the brief look of slight agony that happened when she landed on her injured leg.
She basked there a moment, enjoying the sunshine...
Roe watched as the other doe
"Hello there," she spoke quietly and bowed. "My name is Roe. What . . .what happened to your leg?" She smiled down at the doe and motioned at the injured leg with her muzzle. "Maybe I can help?"
(YE. ) How even larger he
How even larger he was from close up. Kaoori swallowed, glancing upwards toward the giant bird. His blazing eyes seemed as if they could burn away the crisp autumn air and bring summer back himself. And those talons, and that beak.
You.. are quite large.
He forced himself to keep
Everything frightened him. Every single movement and sound and smell. It wouldn't -hadn't- usually, but this weather was terrifing to him. Everyting was. His fur brushed up against a tree, it was warm and it brought him back to reality. This forest had been the once place that hadn't hurt him. The one place.
A light burst down by his feet with a small rustle. He yelped and jumped back. "H-hell-lo?!" It grew completely still now, just stared at him and he stood about a yard away absolutely petrified. "Who are you? What are you?" He thought it a queer question even as it stumbled out of his mouth, but in this place, you never really knew one way or the other.
It took him a few silent, terrifing seconds to realize it was just a fawn. He relaxed slightly, but a fawn could still be dangerous... Even if it did look just as scared as him.

I would like to attempt a post. Any of yours are fine, though Bii and Bright Eyes have caught my interest recently.
Frost covered blades of grass were torn at, a red muzzle roaming over the spacious field just past the Crying Idol. Heading towards the red hill the masked doe had risen early, an empty belly rumbling her to get up for a few bites that chilly morning. Winter was not quite here yet, Fall still lingering and pulling at the leaves of the trees till naked branches were revealed.
Walking slowly she came to the edges of a flower patch, searching for any possible clovers to satisfy her sweet tooth before lifting her head high with long ears swung forward to listen. She became like stone on the ground. Red pillars straight and locked. Listening for something that seemed to have passed by like fleeing fawn hooves. Finally the bright blue eyes lowered back to the ground, lips pulling at the crunchy grass again and returning to her meal at hand. the long tail twitched ever so often, the long hairs at the ends wet from the melted dew behind her and curling slightly. Then the eyes snapped up again, staring ahead with the right hoof raised slightly, ready to spring if necessary.
She could have sworn she heard something...

I can start
Dahlia walked slowly out of a tall grass patch looking for a stream to drink out of, a cool metal taste came to her lips from her snake bite piercings. She glanced around the forest with her one eye as the other one was covered by her side bangs. She seen a black figure in the distance, she took interest at seeing who it is. She walked in the strangers direction to take a closer look.
