Animals in forest need to live. Make a change! Animals dont have much, so I made this for them to stay safe! No reason animals hate you, they want to protect them self or protecting it's family
Blogs like these should be posted on forums that are actually related to saving animals. This is just a forum for people playing the Endless Forest, a game. There's really nothing we can do with how animals are being treated. We're a hand full of people out of millions others who don't care..
While I don't agree with killing animals for fun, there is a reason for hunting. Some animals, such as deer and rabbits, need population control because of how fast they can breed as a species. If they are not hunted, they can and will over-populate, causing a food shortage for them, and other animals!
Hunting isn't completely unregulated, contrary to popular belief. There are certain hunting seasons for each animal, and a limit on how many you're allowed to hunt per day. The number increases according to how fast the animals breed, and their current estimated population in the area.
There's also a reason for animals that are just trying to protect their families/themselves to be killed or relocated. Almost all the time, the animal has wandered into a town, and poses a large threat for the humans (and animals!) living there. It's not just the humans being jerks!
Nah, Don't kill yourself over it. I'm all for Eugenics, Sluggs!
And to add to Saanra's post:
Also, Hunters pay to shoot the animals. (at least in the USA) This grosses more money per year that goes toward conservation than most "conservation groups" make per year. Most donations to a conservation group never even make it to the animals, but go toward advertising. Has anyone ever heard the saying on their commercials: "A portion of your proceeds will go to the ----- Wildlife Foundation." In that saying they never say what part of the foundation the money goes to. Sadly, it is mostly advertising. The money from hunting permits goes directly back to the Department of Natural Resources, who puts it in to good use with directly animal-related and habitat-related conservation efforts, like the population control Saanra talked about as well as cleaning up the environment, testing the populations of animals for disease, and re-locating rehabilitated or dangerous animals.
THATS WHAT I KEEP SAYING!!!!
Sorry if this sounds in
Like i said, i'm not being rude, just curious.
You'd be surprised! It
It "could" make someone think twice about hurting animals.
Example:
Let's say I was thinking about trying my new air rifle out, and thought about shooting a bird...
Seeing something like this might make me think twice, and this blog may have saved a bird!
PS. I don't own any type of gun, and I don't kill animals for fun or otherwise. The above was just an example!
