"Sao...?" The little deer approached the huge scarlet stag through the thicket, her ears pressed back and eyes wide, as she was sensing that something wasn´t like it should be. She hurried at his side like she had been looking for him, gazing up at his fierce skull-like face, her tiny hooves scratching the ground restlessly.
"...is something wrong?" Her voice sounded worried, though the mini wasn´t yet exactly sure what was going on even though she could see that he wasn´t feeling well.

Starling - Nah, I was just saying. Yeah, it was one of ocean's deer. I think it's pretty as well.
Spyrre - <3 - The stag sits, statue like, staring blankly ahead. It isn’t until the mini speaks his name that he even notices her presence. In the slowest pace, he turns his massive skull in a jerky motion, until bloodshot eyes finds hers. Thank the gods for his mask, for there are no words to describe the utter anguish laying beneath it. Then, when reality hits him again, the statue comes to life. 'Ravyn...!' Suddenly gasping for air, he presses himself into the ground, hooves and tines tearing the earth in a fruitless attempt to ease the anxiety that’s suffocating him. He keeps mumbling that name, unable to comprehend what’s really happening. The powerful soldier who had never let himself get defeated, had been brought to his knees by the only one whom he had ever let himself love.

This didn´t look good... at all. She had noticed that something was wrong... but had not expected to see the mighty stag this defeated. He didn´t even move until she had spoken and it seemed to take a bit too long time to even reconize her. The agony he was in was apparent and the mini deer felt shocked for the sight of him. For a moment she didn´t know what to say and couldn´t help but to flinch as he suddenly gasped out the familiar name and collapsed tearing his antlers and hooves to the ground.
Was he hurt? ...no, something else? Ravynn? Had something happened to her? The tiny dark deer felt fear gripping her heart, and for a moment she just stared at him, shocked, until his desperate mumbling snapped her back to the reality. Slowly she moved forward, reaching out gently with her muzzle, until felt his messy fur and nuzzled slightly the side of his neck. Without a word she let out a silent, sad sigh, settling down next to him if the stag allowed her to. This didn´t feel like a good time for questions... but the tattered, large ears turned to him to listen every little word he might let out. Maybe, if he felt up to it, tha stag might tell himself... but what he might need now was company and compassion. She just hoped hers was enough.


(Ah, the poor guy... He seems really crushed. =/ Sorry that I need to go, its getting late... but it was good to see you today. Hope you´re doing okay. )

fffffuck that top piece. arguably one of the best i've seen of sao.

I'm not 100% sure on whether this is accurate as my memory is a little sketchy, but I think Saosin was the first deer to actually beat Walter in a fight. By fight I mean actual fight, not a spar.

Just thought that might be an interesting little piece of information for you. ^^

Verdalas - I read that on W's biography a couple of minutes ago, ironically. That's awesome though, quite an honor to be mentioned as well, heheh. I'm sure I'll add that little piece of information up there somewhere, your old stag is quite an epic character anyway.

*Valeska nuzzles Saosin* I've really missed you. We need to hang out together sometime. *Gives him a sly look with a cute flip of her tail before gently trotting off*

*She looks confused, tears in her eyes.*
"I just got back! Last time you saw me you were glad to be in my company. You were my mentor growing up! I just wanted to say hi, not hang all over you or anything! What's gotten into you!?" *She ends up yelling, tears streaming down her pink face, nearly scolding him* "What's gotten into you!?"

"Don't know you!? You practically raised me! You said I wasn't just another face in the crowd! You always said hi to me and let me spend just a few moments with you. I haven't done you anything wrong to deserve this sudden treatment! You were like a FATHER to me, even though I know you weren't!"

She dashes off quickly, leaving heavy tracks in the earth where her hooves dig in, pushing off hard to gain speed.

(All she wanted to do was say hi. Anyway, I tried. Not working out so well. :/ I've actually thought about leaving for good, hence why I've REALLY been away. But I dunno. Even new characters that other people don't know is me isn't doing well either. Guess I'm just not cut out for this. Feral Hearts isn't going well either, and after 5 years on SL everything crashed. Guess my RP days are over.)

(I know, Sao's all good, not his or your fault. But really I have stopped enjoying it. On Valeska I've been trying hard to make new friends but with the no talking thing...it solves as many problems as it creates. I'm used to text roleplaying, and action-text like in Second Life. But when I've been on for 23 weeks, minus a couple vacations, you would think I would be at least partly established but I'm not. I'm a follower, not a leader. I follow others' roleplays and can't do one of my own and that's not how it works here. It's just not my thing. Been roleplaying since 2001. I think it's about time I bow out anyway. I'm gonna be 26 in July. Getting too old for this anyway.)
