WHAAAAAAAAAAAAT. I was certain you did. Now I cannot get upset anymore that you did not in fact. AWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW :C
Welcome to a place where nothing changes any, uh. I: I WISH I HAD MORE MOTIVATION FOR UPDATIIIIIIING
Kffffff, you are making me blush ;; The CSS/Art wasn't done by me though, so I would figure the credit goes to Apeldille and Mis there. C: But as far as the rest goes, thank youuu!
Awwwww, yeah. I just need to get around to update the info and start updating properly again, hah. But muse, wherefore art thou. ):
Pffft She's your character!
A character that I shall now stalk.
People may have aided with the pretty bits, but you created her flesh and bone and fur!
It is your work that you did on this character that truly brings beauty to the CSS and art. ^^
Additionally, I would love to RP with you if you would like.
I think your pretty caribou would be a swell being for Palila to meet!
But if your muse is low, I do understand XD
With finals this week and stuff, muse is not entirely on my side, either.
And sure, we can RP if you would like to. C: Since I'm not from the US though I guess I don't have finals, but I do have Uni to attend so apologies in advance if my replies are bit slow. ;;
It brings me pleasure to have caused some joy with my words. ^^
That sounds lovely!
It is okay if you are slow.
I am slow as well XD
Do you wish to RP here or on Palila's bio?
I do not mind!
We can also go by email if you'd like.
I will leave the choice up to you XD
There had never been a day where Palila did not soak up the sunlight from the afternoon sky and sighed with pleasure as the sun's warm fingers softly stroked past the feathers that adorned the elf child's head and feathers. Today was another hot day, which meant that her usually playful and adventurous spirit was calmed into one that longed for relaxation; a change she submitted to with little to no complaint. A couple days had passed since she had been attacked by a mother deer and injured her legs in the process of escape. A numbing pain was haunting her for those days and continued to do so, though had grown duller the same way that a berry stain does from one's pelt after enough grooming. Indeed, the wounds were not completely healed, but Palila was at least grateful that the pain was no longer tear-jerking as it had a little while ago. The warmth of the sun beautifully hid the pain from the young fawn as she enjoyed her pleasant sun bath. She was a little ways off from the Old Oak where she let her rabbit family and companion, Cian take rest on this middle-aged day. Her friend had seemed tired and troubled by dreams lately. It worried Palila, and she was grateful anytime he found rest after his torment of being forced to keep himself awake: a thing that Palila knew drained him of comfort and energy itself.
Suddenly, the elf child was aroused from her thoughts by the familiar sound of a bird's song. She gazed up from the forest grass to see two birds -- two bluebirds to be specific -- fluttering side-by-side and landing on a branch not too far away. Palila would be able to touch them with her nose if she were to walk close to them, though even at her age of three weeks old the young one knew that birds were easily startled. As a result, she chose to lay and watch the feathered creatures while they peacefully nuzzled and groomed one another. A gentle sigh escaped the blue lips of the fawn, but she said not a word while continuing to watch them, peacefully. The peace was broken, suddenly as her elven ears perked upward to the scent of another being close by. Curiousity began to devour her; possessing her like some sort of evil spirit. Palila steadily moved forward towards the brush so that she may see what was suddenly catching the attention of her senses; the robins becoming but a memory in her mind as she abandoned her original resting spot.
”Hello?” asked the fawn with a soft yet steady voice. After waiting a second for a response to no avail, she raised her head to peer over the nearby brush.
”Is one there? Anyone?” she called a little louder, longing for something to appear so that her cautious senses could be at ease, or perhaps finally discover something new on this calm day of warmth.
Hopefully I won't sound impolite saying this, but when I tried to write a suitable reply, I couldn't come up with one. See, right now, there'd be little chance for them both to meet - Aurora does not walk much in the forest, which means the occasion of her and your character meeting is a bit unlikely. Or, long story short, it's hard for me to come up with a scenario which would suit as a reply, so to speak - considering they don't know each other at the present time. Would it be okay if you changed your post slightly to give me an angle to respond? Feel free to assume Aurora resting somewhere/have your character interact with her. Sorry for the inconvenience, anyhow.
One of the few days Aurora would find it in her to wander a bit. Things had been, stressed lately, to put it lightly. Oddly so, for the time after all was one that called for happiness - completion. Not that these things weren't present in her mind, but then again, there were a lot of other things to ponder, worry and haul around. Overall, stress had become a dominant factor in the piebald's life. Then again, she tried to take it... day by day.
Eventually her walk had reached an end in which she allowed herself to rather ungracefully, but exhaustedly slump to the ground and rest the rather muscular, caribou body. These days the doe was wearing her war helmet - a fine piece of equipment; steely in appearance despite being bone in fact- and sharp. Two azure eyes were scanning the surroundings keenly and immeadiatly locked on the small form of the other approaching. With a measured amount of suspicion they narrow to scrutinize her further, and an ear flickered. No. Just a youngster.
The expression mellowed down somewhat, but it remained sort of respectful; slightly evaluating still. Her soft voice spoke finally, "Just me. Nothing to worry about." Azure eyes were keen to radiate an atmosphere of tranquility still; though some of it surely stemmed from exhaustion, not inner peace, in fact.
A voice soft and gentle succeeded in finally soothing the senses of the somewhat cautious fawn. Ever since the attack a few days ago, Palila had become wary of adult deer, afraid that they may threaten her as well. It was the calm softness of this voice, however, that made Palila almost sure that it was safe to approach. Nevertheless, the fawn hesitated. She peered over the brush a little more while stretching her long neck as if using the brush before her as some sort of shield from whatever doe lay beyond it. As soon as her own azure eyes made contact with the other being, her heart nearly stopped in her chest.
What happened to this deer's face?
Why was it so LONG?
At first, the elf child found herself stunned and slightly frightened, though awe and curiosity soon faded those feelings away from her spirit, coaxing her forward from the brush and into the clearing where she could now properly see the older doe. Elven ears twitching from the light tickle of a soft breeze, Palila’s azure pearls of sight remained locked on the stranger’s as if searching for the answers to all of her questions in them. Normally, the fawn would bow and tell her name. However, as stunned little children do, she spilt the honesty of her confusion from her lips like a graceful waterfall; lacking thought or compassion to whether the question may cast her a stern look or not. After all, she had no mother to teach her of manners, giving her youthful mind more freedom than most her age.
What happen to face?” she asked the other in a tone that fully expressed her state of confusion and awe.
"Why it so long? It hurt?” As it was her first time coming across a long-faced deer, Palila was at a loss of statements, for all she could come up with at the moment was a sea of questions.
Palila stepped a little closer; not close enough to stretch her neck and touch the muscular doe with her nose, but enough to better examine her. Her piebald markings reminded her very much of her companion, Cian. This thought caused the young fawn to smile. Maybe this doe knew Cian!
Her demeanour was received with less of a stern, but more of a puzzled attitude. The caution was noted, likewise the contrast it presented to her rather straightforward question. An eye-whisker rises in response to it; but nothing is said on it. Likely a reaction of politeness, even though the question did make her inner self snort. Surely this fawn had seen others with even 'longer' face. Nevertheless, she ventured for an eloquent reply.
"I assure you, my face is no longer than any other caribou's would be. Unless you are referring to the metaphorical sense of having a long face; then I suppose it was naught but a moment's picture. I assure you, it is quite fine - I am quite fine." A smile pursed her lips to reinforce the words, azure eyes casting a gentle look towards the other. She wasn't exactly sure how to proceed - and therefore remained put in her place to leave the choice to the fawn. Company would never be denied, though surely the piebald was on guard to not let any of her own troubles slip. A perfectly calm exterior was therefore kept, still radiating this aura of calmness.
