Like always, I shall officially open up my character's RP Blog with an opening post.
Enjoy. ^^

The snow covered the forest floor now, only a few strands of grass poked through and a couple flowers pushed on past the cold; trying to survive the winter a little longer then average. When the falling snow took a break, a figure emerged from a behind a tree. Long hair covered their bare chest and figure thin. They had the legs of a doe, but the body of a . . . woman? She crept from the snow, thin frame shivered. Where did she come from?
So many strange things did seem to be making their way into the endless forest, and this 'doe' was but one of the many. Soft green eyes took in all of what was around her. Then, with an intake of breath, a single word slipped past her soft, shivering lips. "Hello?" Pale arms wrapped around her bare torso as snowflakes fell on her shoulders. Would anyone dare to reply?
A young stag was leaning against a tree, resting. Being a mix of red deer and elk, his heavy build and almost fully grown winter coat made it easier for him to endure the cold weather, so he had been staying in that same place for a while already. Still, the weather didn't look like it was going to get better any time soon. It would probably be wise to move to a more sheltered area if he didn't want to catch a cold...
He was wondering where to go next when he heard a faint voice. "Hello?" He looked around, but the falling snow made it difficult to see at the distance. Suddenly, the snow stopped for a moment, and he finally saw a figure, slowly moving through the snow. A two-legged figure.
The surprise made him get up quickly, almost instinctively. "What the...? A human?!" Ozzie didn't know any other creature that walked in two legs, other than humans. Could this really be one of them? He wasn't unfamiliar with these beings, he had seen them a few times back in his homeland, and many of the deer in this place had human faces, anyway. But, he never expected to see an actual human in The Endless Forest!
He was unsure of what to do next. Should he run away, just in case? But there was only one of them, and he wasn't even sure that this was indeed a human. The view wasn't very clear, perhaps he was mistaken, or his mind was playing tricks on him...
So, after giving it some more thought, the stag decided he had yet to make sure of what this creature was, and he stood there staring in awe, waiting for its next movement.
Wiana; The wind blew harder, shoving icy air and snow into the face of the doe as she walked around. Where was she? The trees were tall, some thin and other wide. And everywhere the faun turned was just more and more trees. Her skin was growing cold, only her top half shivered, yet slowly with each passing moment, even her lower furred legs shivered in the wind. Eve was beyond confused. Just a moment ago, she stood face to face with man in her forest, then a flash of light . . . and she was here? "Hello? Is anyone there?" She called out again, this time a sneeze fallowed her plea.
The snow slowed for a moment, yet to only be followed with a gust that took the faun by surprise and she was knocked backwards into the snow. Hooves legs wiggled in the air as she struggled to get back up. Was she being punished for disobeying? Is this where forest folk go if they look to communicate with man? Getting up from the ground, she cried out this time. "Please! Is anyone . . . anybody!" Her green eyes began to leak tears of fear of the unknown. Her voice was scared, and tight. Long brown hair tangled and growing wet from the snow. The tears didn't help her ether, in the cold.
The figure came a little closer and called out again. Yes, she had two legs, but somehow she seemed different... didn't exactly look like a human. Then he heard her sneeze. Of course, it hadn't crossed his mind that she wasn't well prepared to live in this kind of weather, like him. And the snowstorm was only getting worse. "What are you doing Ozzie, here standing like an idiot... She needs help." They needed to find a good shelter, and fast.
Suddenly, a powerful gust of wind that made even the big stag shiver knocked the faun down to the icy ground. He couldn't just keep watching like this any longer. There's no way she can survive in these conditions by herself." he thought and quickly trotted to her side, alarmed for the other's well-being. It didn't matter what she was right now; she was alone, and scared. He had to help her.
Once they were finally face to face, he finally noticed her hooved, furry legs. He stood there staring at her for a brief moment, bewildered. He'd never seen anything like her before. But this wasn't the time for questions, so he shook off his confusion and laid down on the snow beside her. "Quick, get on my back!" he said in a hurried tone. The wind was getting stronger by the minute. There would be time for introductions later.
Wiana; As the wind began to pick up, the faun didn't get back up off the snow. She only half laid there, crying. This was it then? Have the gods truly forsaken her and dying by the end of a sword wasn't a good enough punishment? Cupping her face in her shaking hands, young Eve tried to control herself. Taking deep breaths, the faun thought back to the forest she had come from. The beauty. The warmth. The friendly faces and safety. Oh, by the gods, she wished she could see them again.
From the corner of her green eyes, she thought she saw something. Turning, and squinting past the falling snow a figure was coming her way. Eve gasped, unsure what it could be. The closer it got, the bigger it seemed. She didn't even know what to think anymore; her only solution was to shut her eyes as tight as she could. "Quick, get on my back." The figures voice rang in her pointed ears and Eve looked up to see what looked like a large stag. A talking stag? She didn't question the voice, and did as she was told. Unsure if this would be the end or a answer for her call for help. Climbing onto the back of the deer, young Eve clung tightly to their fur and pressed her face to the back of their neck, eyes closed tightly.
Once the faun had followed his instructions he got up, slowly to prevent her from falling to the icy ground again, then turned his head towards her. "Umm..." He'd never been the bossy type and always felt weird giving orders to others, but this time he had to take care of the situation. It could be a matter of life or death for the small faun. "You might want to keep your head down while we travel... These winds are powerful, and I don't want to hurt you with my antlers either."
He knew exactly where they had to go. It was one of his least favorite spots, but it was undoubtedly the most safe and warm place in the whole forest. It was a commonly used shelter for everyone, and luckily, if he remembered right, it wasn't very far from there. So the stag returned his head facing forwards, and began trotting towards the Old Oak.
---
aahh sorry if some of the phrases sound weird, english isn't my first language ^^'
Wiana; Eve nodded into the stags fur, keeping her head down and out of the way from his antlers. Stopping her tears, she pulled herself together. She was going to be fine. She hoped. This stag seemed like he knew what he was doing . . . or at lest he appeared too. The faun gasped as they began to move, going at a steady trot, she was hoping for out of this weather. Long brown hair fluttered out of control and a couple more sneezes escaped her before a large silhouette formed before them. Peaking out, she stared. It was a . . . a tree! Eve tried to keep looking, but the cold hurt her face and she pressed it back into the stags pelt. Waiting for the wind to stop blowing.
Noticing her sneezes, the stag quickened his pace as he made his way through the snow, his breath coming out as little clouds with each stride. "Just hold a little longer. We're almost there..." They carried on, not so fast that the wind was too bothersome, but quick enough to make sure they arrived to their destination soon.
A few moments later they were under the shelter of the great Oak, finally. He stepped inside the massive tree and trotted towards one of its walls, keeping both of themselves away from the entrance, where a few chilly airstreams still managed to sneak in. He laid down so that the faun could get down from his back, if she wanted. "Here we'll be safe from the snow." He added, letting out a sigh of relief. It was so nice to be finally out of the storm's reach. He turned to check up on the other's condition and noticed they were both covered by snowflakes. "...I hope the journey wasn't too rough... Are you okay?"
---
aksdjhl no I still have a lot to learnnn. But thank you >u<
Wiana; Once the blowing of the wind stopped, Eve's grip on the stags pelt loosened. She peeked out from under her frosted hair, looking around and realizing that they were inside of the large tree. A magnificent oak to be persist. As the stag crouched down, she slowly slipped off of him. Still stiff from the cold, but was already beginning to fee a lot better now that they were out of the snow. Eve did a little shake, wiggling to get all the frost off of her legs and even her tail wiggled a few frozen droplets as well. The young doe turned back, replying. "I'm . . . I'm doing pretty alright despite being so cold and well . . . not sure where I am . . ." She turned and look at the stag. His capability of speech astonished the faun. She knew animals could 'talk' but not actually talk.
Then again, she was so young, so there were probably many things she didn't even know yet. "And I must thank you, you . . . well you saved my tail out there. I've never seen . . . seen anything quit like it." She glanced out the opening of the tree, the snow still blowing with great power. Rubbing her hands on her arms, she moved back away from the opening. "I mean . . . it's as if . . . well; Oh never mind. Just thank you so much. May I ask your name?" Eve knelt before the stag, faces level.
He imitated the faun's actions and shook of the snow from his fur. "Well, you did seem a little lost back there... I don't recall seeing you before; are you new here, by chance? Ah, but it's a relief that you're alright! I hope the Oak will be enough to keep us warm..." Actually, he still was pretty confused at her hybrid-like appearance, but he thought it would be too rude to ask about that just yet. So he put those questions to the back of his mind for the moment and tried to make her feel safe and welcome as best he could.
Still, he couldn't help giving a quick glance at her hooves again while she talked to him. Body of a human and legs of a deer. It was kind of fascinating. "Oh, no you're very welcome. That storm was pretty awful, I couldn't leave you out there on your own... Oh, and you can call me Ozzie." he added, giving a slight bow with his head.
Wiana; As the stag bowed his large head, stating his name, the faun smiled. "Ozzie . . . that is a lovely name." She moved over to the back of the oak and sat down upon the around. This was noticeably warmer then outside, that was for sure. Was she new? Eve nodded quickly. "I'm finding it hard to understand . . . but yes, I seem to be new here." She gazed outside, watching the snow fall at its rapid pace. "I'm not sure . . . where am I to tell the truth . . ." The faun looked back to Ozzie, as if expecting him to know what she wanted to know, like where she was now.
Hugging her furred legs to her bare chest, Eve let out a soft sigh. Taking note in the stag looking at her legs. Had he not seen a faun before? Was she the . . . only one here? "Is something the matter?" She asked him softly.
Waning-Sun; The faun had sort of made the hallowed out Oak her home for the time being, at least till spring comes. She wasn't at all prepared for such weather, after all, the forest she did come from never turned white and barren. Yes, the leaves changed colors and fell each year, but that was it. She had never seen snow before. Eve was snuggled under a large leaf she had found between the snow storms, seeming to fail at starting a small fire. Plus, she wasn't sure if a tree would appreciate such inside of it. The tree nymphs back where she lives often told her trees were picky about their surroundings and this oak was giving her shelter; she didn't wish to offend it.
Waking, she saw the snow had stopped falling. "Oh thank the gods." Getting up, leaf still around her shoulders, she walked outside of the Oak and gazed around. The faun was taken back, this forest was beautiful. Why hadn't she seen that before? Maybe all the snow and wind? Long furred legs stepped out into the snow, sinking in a few inches.
Snow. The stag was almost certain it was snow, even though he'd have to guess from the blindfold-why was that there?- covering his eyes. He could feel it coating his fur-fur?!- and was a soft, albeit horribly cold, blanket under him. He tried to move his head, but even with all the concentration and effort, he only managed to twitch his neck to one side. He was facing something tall and unmoving, a rock or a tree, perhaps. His limbs felt heavy, bogged down. If he did manage to get them to move, nothing more than a twitch as well, the stag found them to be bound fast by rope to nearby trees. He felt mild panic overtake him, the usual fear of being restrained floating to the surface of his mind, only to be suppressed by the sound of snowflakes around him. He wished he could see the snow, it felt like it had been years since he had last seen it. He sighed tiredly, wishing his body would come out of it's sedated haze so he could see the snow. Or the forest-which he was almost certain he was in- around him in general. It reminded him of being wheeled outside to see it, but being so out of it he could only silently watch the birds in Spring or enjoy the sight of all the blooming flowers.
Jay's in the forest, his body is just restrained as it was when he died-which will be explained in his journal on his bio- hes just a little sleepy at the moment-and is otherwise okay physically. His death included being blindfolded and shackled-it sounds a lot creepier and worse than I actually had happen. So basically he's just sitting there. Or laying there whichever you prefer.
Waning-Sun; As the faun walked out into the snow, she found the leaf didn't seem to help much in the cold, even if it wasn't snowing at the moment. " . . . so this is the endless forest?" That was all she knew so far from a kind stag who told her of her location. Eve was only glad to know she was alive and safe. Brown hair hung over his shoulders, moving away from the large Oak, looking around. At least her legs were safe from the cold. Once her gazed around, something caught her green eyes. Was that someone tied up? "Oh my . . ." Quickly, she moved closer. Having to hop a little to get to the other that was laying in the snow. "Hello? Umm . . . hello? Are you alright?" This place was strange indeed. First a talking stag . . . now someone tied up?
It's actually better that he enters this way, because if I just let him go in the forest as is, he would be screaming, flailing, terrified of his own shadow and running everywhere. Then he'd have a panic attack and break down into tears at the sight of a TEF deer. Very entertaining, but bad for Jay.
Words. He twitched his ear toward the voice-he had never been able to do that before...what happened?- and considered responding. That was the most he could do, consider it. His mind was reeling to respond, attempting to come up with a cohesive response. Where was he? Where was his doctor, his caretaker? She didn't-for the voice sounded much like a she- sound like anyone he recognized. Usually the drugs didn't change a person's voice....unless...unless she wasn't really there? She was just a new hallucination. Maybe that's why he was blindfolded, as so he couldn't see any new hallucinations in a new environment. Well that didn't work. Why would they drop him off into snow? Where they getting rid of him, they couldn't tolerate him anymore? Why did his limbs feel weird...he attention was grabbed by a shape getting closer, the shape that belonged to the voice. It was...moving. That confused him, his hallucinations rarely had shadows. They just sort of appeared and disappeared.
So that meant that she was real then...he felt a shiver go down his spine as the realization struck him. She was real and she was talking to him, which meant that the snow was real as well. Good. He liked snow. Are you alright? he opened his mouth to respond, but his mind was slurring the words together. It took him even longer to figure out a sentence.
"I....I...dooo nooott knooww." his response was slow, painfully slow for his liking.
Waning-Sun; Moving closer, she saw that it was another deer. Yes, this one was very thin and frail, almost sickly. Having trouble moving through the snow, Eve leaped a few times till she was closer, able to kneel down besides the deer. Their slow reply startled the faun. So talking wildlife was normal, good. She could get use to that. Slowly she reached out, touching the deers flank. "Are you hurt? Does it hurt anywhere?" Eve titled her head to the side, inching closer, softly petting the animal. Seeing their face covered, she added, "Is it alright if I undercover . . your face?" The faun tried to be gentle and quite, her touches soft and kind. She was always good with the stray sheep, but they never spoke or get tied up . . .
The stag initially flinched away at her touch, more or less for the act of being petted, which was by far the strangest thing he had had happen to him. Not to mention, he could feel the texture of his fur against her hand, which frightened him. Fur. He had fur....what had Doc done to him? He gave slow shake of his head to her question, not liking the feeling of a long neck.
"N-no...no...pain.." he replied tiredly, but at her next question he gave slight nod. He felt fear-good it was wearing off- flutter in his stomach. He wasn't sure if he wanted to know what had happen to him. He had fur, his legs felt weird. What...what if he wasn't human? A werewolf? A monster? He didn't know what could have become of him now. It worried him, scared him even.
Waning-Sun; The faun froze when the deer flinched away from her, moving slower this time. She didn't mean to startle the stag, but was glad that he wasn't hurt. "Good good, I'd glad." She wasn't a healer after all, just a plain old faun. When they didn't say yes or no to her removing the blindfold from their face, she hesitated. Only noticing it now. The blindfold was flat on the deers face . . . as if they didn't have the face of a deer at all. Eve froze for a moment. No no, it is fine. So what they don't have a face of a deer. She had the face of a human . . . so did centaurs. Softly, and gently the lifted the blindfold. "Umm . . . hello." Her voice was soft, seeing this deers face. It was almost human? It was. The faun stared in awe.
Never had she seen such a thing. Was this a relative of a faun? An ancestor? Offspring? Or . . . something completely different. Keeping her composure, she sat down in the snow. Legs on ether side of her. "Is that better? Now that you can see?" Eve cooed softly, holding the blindfold in her hands in front of her bare chest. Still shivering slightly from the cold.
The stag blinked against the light that came off the snow's surface. Snow. He hadn't seen snow in...in years. He was too taken by the snow to pay attention to the girl's question, at least not until he tried to touch the surface close to him, only to have his arm be held back by the rope. Annoyed, he slowly brought his head around only to find that instead of a human body, he had the body of an animal. A deer...or something close to it. Instead of an arm, he had a foreleg and a hoof where his hand should be. Adrenaline coursed through his veins, clearing his mind of the fog of the sedatives in a matter of a few moments. His motor skills might take a while to catch up, but if at least his head was clearing.
"I....I have hooves," he whispered, allowing his head to flop in the snow, pure disbelief crossing his face. That's when he noticed Eve, "You have hooves too...." but only the bottom half of her had hooves. Her torso face, hands were much like a human's. At least, in the moment he could glance at her before looking uncomfortably away. "But you have hands...why is that?" he still paused between sentences, but it was better than pausing between words. It did take his mind several moments to come up with something new to say, though, but he attributed that to the shock his mind was trying to wrap around. He had hooves and a deer body. Did he have a deer face too? And why did he not look like she did?
Waning-Sun; Eve watched as the stag adjusted to the sunlight, guessing he was blindfolded for quit some time. Yet, when he spoke of having hooves the faun blinked. "Hmmm? He didn't have hooves before? Now that was an odd thing to hear. This stag seemed very confused about who he was and who she was. Softly, Eve patted his front hooves, gently undoing the ropes that held them together. "Well . . . I have hands because I do . . . ummm, well all fauns have hands. It would be rather silly if they didn't." Eve smiled softly. "But you . . . you seem rather special. A deer with the face of a man. Yet . . . I'm new here, so you could be the norm." She titled her head.
The cold tickled her bare skin. "My name is Eve, may I know your name?" Her smile was soft, kind, and young. Her fear of the unknown here wasn't as strong as she would have thought. From what she could tell, there was no danger in this forest.
He watched her untie him, puzzled. Fauns? What were fauns? And how was he unlucky enough to not have hands? How was he supposed to function without hands...or...or feet for that matter. Wait a second, did she just call him a deer with a human face? Oh, wait...he didn't have a snout. He could only see the bridge of his nose, not a snout. All right then. "The norm..." his voice cracked and he took a moment to curb his panic long enough to contine his sentence, "there are others here? Others that look like me? Or...or you?" He glanced up at her face, before allowing his gaze to go back to the snow before him. When she mentioned her name, his ear flicked at the word, "Eve..." he repeated, "I am Jay."
Waning-Sun; Eve sat back into the snow, crossing her deer legs, thinking. Were there other fauns here in the forest? Oh, she only hoped. And deer like him? She was unsure. Tail twitched back and forth for a moment, "Well, there would be only one way to find out . . . exploring." The faun grinned at the word. Oh how much she loved to explore . . . and how the elders hated her love for it. Of course . . . being to curious seems to be the reason why she is in this forest now . . . but Eve wasn't positive on that. Jay? Hearing the stags name pulled her back. "Well, it is a pleasure to meet you Jay." The doe was glad he was alright.
She was holding the blindfold on her hands for the time, looking around them both. If anyone was here, they must be keeping out of the cold. Oh, the cold. Quickly she stood. "Well . . . I think it would be good if I, you, we got out of the cold. Come on . . . do you need help to stand?" Eve looked down to the deer, hoping he was truly alright.
Standing? He hadn't thought of that yet. The concept terrified him. He tested his foreleg, watching it move about sluggishly and somewhat stiff. Stiff, now why was that? How long had he been out of it?
"I...I...uh..I haven't been a deer before, I don't quite know how my legs are supposed to work." With that he tried to stand, his legs splayed like a newborn fawn's. He swayed on the spot, his body not used to standing, let alone standing on four legs over two. He lost his balance after a moment, his legs crumbling under him as he collapsed in the snow. His body was shaking, mostly from the shock over the cold weather. He rubbed his face against the snow, "Just give me a second, I'll figure this out."
Waning-Sun; The faun was puzzled at him comment. He hasn't been a deer before? Was he not a deer? Eve blinked, a tad confused now as she watched Jay attempt to stand up. She was about to bend down and help him, yet he seemed like he wished to do this on how own. She watched, head titled a little. He didn't seem to lie about not being a deer before, for he looked like a grown deer yet he moved like a helpless newborn fawn. The faun stood back, giving him space as she watched. Arms hugged around herself, crossing her fingers for Jay. "True to stand up with your front legs first . . ." Hoping that might help a little.
Front legs first? He stared at his forelegs, maybe it was like a push up, arms then feet. He tried it, slowly bringing his forelegs forward and putting weight on them. They were stilted since he didn't understand how deer joints worked in relations to a person's, though so far he got that they were backward, like how birds bent their legs backwards from a person's. In one fluid motion he swung his weight forward, uncurling his rear legs and putting his weight on them. He grimaced in a fear and surprise as he stood there, swaying once more. He had to shift the position of his legs from time to time to keep himself standing, but at least for the most part he could keep his balance. Okay...now...now walking. "How...how do you walk...?" he asked, looking over at her helplessly. He had no idea.
Waning-Sun; Eve watched the stag as she took, what seem to be, his first steps. Smiling once he got up onto all fours, she leaned over. Her head was just a tad taller then his own. Walk? How did she? "Umm . . . well, I've never really thought about it . . ." She looked down at his legs and then her own, before thinking about to the deer and animals in the forest from her old home. Walking around him, smiling softly. "Well, lets see . . . each leg will have a number . . ." She pointed first to his left front leg, then right, then to his back left leg then right as she said, "One . . . two . . . three . . . four. Now, move them in that order, slowly." Eve was sure, at least she hoped so, that this would work. "I believe in you Jay.". She stepped back a few steps.
He watched where she pointed, mentally saying the numbers before deciding to take a chance and following her lead. It was the only way he would learn, and it had been awhile since he had a chance to learn anything. "One," he whispered the number with each shaky step, "Two...three," at three his back leg buckled and the stag went down on his left side. Frustrated, he pulled his weight back up and braced himself against a tree trunk, "I hope running is easier..." he muttered.
"Hehe, thank you. And, may I ask what is yours?" he answered, returning the smile. He had enjoyed her company so far, she seemed nice.
So, she was new indeed. He figured he should give her at least some general information to help her feel less confused. "Well, we call this place 'The Endless Forest'. I can show you around, if you'd like... Once this storm goes away of course." He was actually longing for that to happen. He did it all the time with fawns anyway, it was something he enjoyed to do. But besides, that way, they could get away from the Oak, at least for a little while. He didn't enjoy being inside the tree... it brought bad memories. But he tried to ignore his discomfort for now, and carried on.
"This place was created by the Twin Gods... I've had the opportunity to see them up close a couple of times. They are really nice, I really have a lot to thank them for..." He hadn't had the happiest of times back at his previous home, so he was very grateful that the gods had given him the opportunity to start afresh in The Endless Forest. Sure, life had its ups and downs, even in this place, but overall he was happy living here. "There's a lot to tell about this forest, you know. If you want to know something, just ask. Although I'm not even sure I know all about it myself, ha ha. You discover something new everyday..."
"Is something the matter?"
The question caught him off guard. He had hoped that she wouldn't notice, but his gaze kept going back at her hooves again, without realizing. "...What? Oh, no no, I was just... well..." He thought it would be better to be honest and express his doubts, instead of trying to come up with an excuse, so he finally asked: "Well, actually, I'm pretty confused about this... and I just want to make sure, but... You... you're not a human, right?"
---
asdf sorry for the slow responses x.x Been busy with school projects and stuff :I
Waning-Sun; Eve's face lite up as he began to take the first steps, even her tail wiggled a little. She urged him on inside her head. You can do it, yeah yeah. Now one . . . more . . . step . . .oops. As he fell to his side, she moved over to him. "Are you alright?" Tho, hearing his comment about running told her that he was probably fine. The faun giggled, "I think . . . you should focus on walking. Running might be . . . a bit more complicated with four legs." Eve glanced at his wobbling limbs. Baby sheep and horses walked faster then Jay, but she had a feeling he would be able to walk if he really did walk too.
Wiana; Her name? "Eve, my name is Eve." Glad to see the stag smile. Hearing about this forest fascinated her, taking in all the information that he had said. Was this forest truly endless? or was it just a name? And there were twin gods? Oh, my and he had seen them! Oh, she had heard stories of gods and actually seeing them; yet the gods that ruled the land she was from were mostly the quite sort that kept to themselves. "I think I'd like that . . . it's always good to become familiar with a place . . . when your new. I'd hate to get lost." And with the name Endless Forest, she had a feeling it might be easier then she thought.
When Ozzie asked if she wasn't human, Eve gasped. Did he not know what a faun was? "Oh no no, I'm a faun . . . but we sort of resemble humans . . . I've never met a human before, but . . . I've seen them." Eve thought about it, fauns did look human . . . how strange.
When she mentioned running being more complicated, he couldn't help but be dismayed. What if he had to flee? How would he be able to get away? He tried again, a little more determined this time around. " I can imagine..." he muttered with a half hearted glance toward her. "And I thought I was clumsy on two legs," he stated with a light laugh, only to flinch when his voice went raspy. Okay, laughing was not an option, not now anyway. "Sorry...I haven't talked this much in a while, I guess..." he attempted to shrug, feeling his body sway at the motion, but at least now he was walking. Sort of. Each step was small and each move was calculated before it was attempted. But it was progress, right?
Waning-Sun; Once the stag began to walk, slowly at first, she grinned. Softly, the faun clapped lightly. "See, you can do it, and it's alright. You don't need to say anything if you don't wish too." Glancing behind her, the Oak wasn't to far away. Just a couple of yards, and she was sure he could make it. He was at a nice pace for walking for the first time. "If you keep going straight, shelter is up ahead." Did he say two legs? Eve was rather curious now, but she wouldn't bother him at the time being.
Shelter up ahead? Jay made the mistake of peering farther ahead of him after glancing uncertainly back at her. Now he halted entirely, staring at the giant tree, and it was giant even though it was a good distance away. "Whoa...I've never seen a tree that big before..." he hadn't, that much was true. He thought he had seen big trees, even old growth, but this thing surpassed any tree he had ever seen. "Are there others here...?"
Waning-Sun; Seeing Jay stop dead in his tracks, Eve paused and walked over to him then followed his gaze. Now that he mentioned it, the Oak was rather big. Bigger then any other tree in this forest from what she could tell. "I'm not sure, I've only got her a few days ago . . . you can say I'm pretty new here too." The faun looked back to the stag, wondering if he would continue on walking.
New here too.."Oh..." he glanced at her, before forcing his legs into motion again. A smile crossed his face at the small victory; no stumbles, not yet. "Do you know what they call it here? What this place is called?" He hoped so. She might be here a few days longer than him, but that had to be enough to know a little bit about this place...or...or forest.
Waning-Sun; Oh, how could she let that slip her mind? "I was told this forest is called the Endless Forest." She smiled, glad to see him moving again. "Not sure why yet . . . but I'm, sure I will." The faun walked ahead of the deer, hugging her arms around herself for a moment, rubbing her arms softly. As the both inches closer to the Oak, Eve felt a little better. It was warmer in there after all. From what she could tell so far, this forest was the home to deer and from the reaction from the first stag she met, no humans. That made the faun curious.
"The Endless Forest..." he repeated softly, now staring about him in the same awe he had with the tree. Now that he could put a name to it, it was even more interesting. It wasn't just a forest anymore. He paused at the mouth of the tree, staring up its trunk. He couldn't see the top of thing, nor could he see the sky beyond it. He didn't enter the threshold of the tree just yet, he was afraid to do so. Dark places were bad, they brought out bad things, but it was warmer in there...and his fur couldn't handle the cold too well...he took a breath and stepped into the entrance, realizing for a moment that his walking was getting better, more of a natural gait. He wondered how long it would take him to figure out running, or even a faster walk.
Waning-Sun; The faun watched as the strange deer began to walk over to the Oak. Each step seemed more natural as he went on, and that made her glad. If anyone was unable to go where they pleased, it was always upsetting to see the disappointment on their faces. Once Jay entered the tree, she followed. Glad to be out of the cold now. There was a true noticeable difference in temperatures in here and being without fur on half her body, that was comforting to know. Eve moved over, sitting down in the back of the Oak, farthest away from the opening. "See, much better in here . . . yet the snow is nice to look at." She looked over to Jay.
"Yes," he remarked simply enough, giving the cavern walls with a nervous glance before coming over to sit down beside her. Was it just him, or was the oak humming? It was low pitched, almost peaceful if it didn't unnerve him...and was it warmer in the oak too? He did appreciate that, as his body could not handle the shock of the ice and cold too well. He had more muscle than he did fat, which wasn't saying much. What muscle he did have was sacrificed to keep his body alive longer, it was frail and could barely keep himself standing for the amount of time he was up and walking around. He curled his limbs under him and rested his head to the floor, watching the snow while he soaked up the warmth in the room. "It is very pretty to look at. Much nicer than the rain." he agreed.
"Oh, I don't think that you'll get lost, the forest is not that big once you get to know it... But I think you will like this place, it's quite beautiful. Now, if only this snow would stop..." He somewhat eager to go outside, that way he could get rid of the gloomy sensation that always seemed to invade him everytime he stepped inside the Old Oak... But at least having someone to talk to in the meantime helped to keep him distracted.
"A faun? I must admit I've never heard of them before..." He wondered if it was strange that he didn't know anything about them. There weren't any fauns in the forest he was born, or at least he'd never seen one. But he was pretty familiar with humans. "I've never met a human either... though I kind of wish I had. I've always been curious about them, to be honest. Everyone thought I was weird for that, haha. I never understood why my brother would always scold me when I sneaked in to observe them when I was younger, but now... I know he was just trying to protect me." It was true, after his brother showed him one day what humans could do to deer, he understood why his brother didn't like him getting so close to them. But still, that didn't cause him to think badly about humans. Yes, they were different, but different didn't always mean bad, right?
Waning-Sun; Eve lightly ran her fingers through her hair, attempting to get a few knots out that formed while she was in the snow storm a few days ago; glancing to Jay a few times as he began to relax. So far, this place was holding her interest. There was probably so much about this forest that she will never understand and a bit of her missed her old home and those she knew there. As the stag mentions how the snow was nicer then the rain, Eve thought about that. Yes, the snow was pretty, but it was very cold . . . yet rain helped the forest grow and make mud in the process. "Hmmm . . ." Her fur was beginning to dry partly, glad she wasn't to wet from the snow. "Do you remember how you got here?" The faun hoped her question wasn't to personal, she was only curious.
Wiana; You can't get lost in an endless forest? How odd. As the stag mentioned he hoped the snow would end, she gazed outside. She has never experienced such a thing, only hearing of it. Sitting there, she whipped the snow from her legs, trying to help them dry faster. "Never heard of a faun? Wow . . . well to tell the truth . . . I never knew a stag could speak . . . with words." Eve giggled lightly as she said it. Yet, as Ozzie brought up his brother, she hushed and listened. His brother thought humans were bad news too? She sighed softly. "Your brother . . . sounds like someone I know. She hated how much I wanted to better understand man . . ." And it seems her curious nature brought her here, at least from what she can tell. "I think she was maybe right . . ." The faun hugged her furred legs to her chest.
The stag fell silent, his gaze lingering on the snow. "Yes..." he admitted after several moments of silence. He let the answer hang there, he had no intention of filling the silence with an explanation. He didn't even know if she would understand. He remembered perfectly how he ended up there, in the forest. Why was the question he wanted to know. Why. Then again, he didn't remember much of the whole experience, but he could guess. They treated him like he wasn't all there, wasn't smart enough to catch on. But he was. He could make his own assumptions, no matter how much they tried to shelter him.
Waning-Sun; At the late response and lack there of for detail, Eve titled her head to the side. Yet, seeing the long face of the stag, she had a feeling it was probably best to not ask any more about it with him. Unless he wished to speak of it. She leaned her back to the walls of the Oak and watched Jay as he stayed quite. ". . . I'm glad you know tho. I'm a little lost on how I got here . . ." Well, she had a hunch, but why would the gods what to save her? She was just a single faun in their vast forest. What would it mean if the humans had . . . well. Eve signed.
"That is unfortunate," Jay answered after a moment's pause, drawing himself back to the conversation. He turned his head to where an eye could watch her. He didn't press the matter, seeing as she hadn't pressed it with him. He would have tried to explain, had she asked, but how much could she understand? How much did he really know, either. He was out of the loop on that, only had an assumption, a hunch to hide the uncertainty.
Like always, I shall
Enjoy.

Hmm. I've been thinking of

Wiana; The wind blew harder,
The wind blew harder, shoving icy air and snow into the face of the doe as she walked around.
The figure came a little
Suddenly, a powerful gust of wind that made even the big stag shiver knocked the faun down to the icy ground.
Wiana; As the wind began to
As the wind began to pick up, the faun didn't get back up off the snow.
Once the faun had followed
He knew exactly where they had to go. It was one of his least favorite spots, but it was undoubtedly the most safe and warm place in the whole forest. It was a commonly used shelter for everyone, and luckily, if he remembered right, it wasn't very far from there. So the stag returned his head facing forwards, and began trotting towards the Old Oak.

Wiana; Eve nodded into the
Eve nodded into the stags fur, keeping her head down and out of the way from his antlers.

Really? I think your English is perfect.

Are you okay?"

aksdjhl no I still have a lot to learnnn. But thank you >u<
Wiana; Once the blowing of
Once the blowing of the wind stopped, Eve's grip on the stags pelt loosened.

Your welcome. c:
He imitated the faun's
Still, he couldn't help giving a quick glance at her hooves again while she talked to him. Body of a human and legs of a deer. It was kind of fascinating. "Oh, no you're very welcome. That storm was pretty awful, I couldn't leave you out there on your own... Oh, and you can call me Ozzie." he added, giving a slight bow with his head.
Wiana; As the stag bowed his
As the stag bowed his large head, stating his name, the faun smiled. "Ozzie . . . that is a lovely name." She moved over to the back of the oak and sat down upon the around.
Hmm...spontanious thought.
I don't see a problem with
She is new and all here.
Same as him. Would you like
I'd be happy to start.
Waning-Sun;
The faun had sort of made the hallowed out Oak her home for the time being, at least till spring comes.
Snow. The stag was almost

(I'm a little confused. . . what is going on with Jay? Where is he? . . . sorry)

Waning-Sun; As the faun
As the faun walked out into the snow, she found the leaf didn't seem to help much in the cold, even if it wasn't snowing at the moment. " . . . so this is the endless forest?" That was all she knew so far from a kind stag who told her of her location.
It's actually better that he
Waning-Sun; Moving closer,
Moving closer, she saw that it was another deer. She was always good with the stray sheep, but they never spoke or get tied up . . .
The stag initially flinched
"N-no...no...pain.." he replied tiredly, but at her next question he gave slight nod. He felt fear-good it was wearing off- flutter in his stomach. He wasn't sure if he wanted to know what had happen to him. He had fur, his legs felt weird. What...what if he wasn't human? A werewolf? A monster? He didn't know what could have become of him now. It worried him, scared him even.
Waning-Sun; The faun froze
The faun froze when the deer flinched away from her, moving slower this time.
The stag blinked against the
"I....I have hooves," he whispered, allowing his head to flop in the snow, pure disbelief crossing his face.
Waning-Sun; Eve watched as
Eve watched as the stag adjusted to the sunlight, guessing he was blindfolded for quit some time.
He watched her untie him,
Waning-Sun; Eve sat back into
Eve sat back into the snow, crossing her deer legs, thinking.
Standing? He hadn't thought
Waning-Sun; The faun was
The faun was puzzled at him comment.
He stared
Waning-Sun; Eve watched the
Eve watched the stag as she took, what seem to be, his first steps.
Daww she is such a little
He watched where she pointed, mentally saying the numbers before deciding to take a chance and following her lead.
"Ozzie . . . that is a lovely

Waning-Sun; Eve's face lite
Eve's face lite up as he began to take the first steps, even her tail wiggled a little.
Wiana;
Her name?
When she mentioned running
Waning-Sun; Once the stag
Once the stag began to walk, slowly at first, she grinned.
Jay made
Waning-Sun; Seeing Jay stop
Seeing Jay stop dead in his tracks, Eve paused and walked over to him then followed his gaze. Now that he mentioned it, the Oak was rather big. Bigger then any other tree in this forest from what she could tell. "I'm not sure, I've only got her a few days ago . . . you can say I'm pretty new here too." The faun looked back to the stag, wondering if he would continue on walking.
New here too.."Oh..." he
Waning-Sun; Oh, how could she
Oh, how could she let that slip her mind? "I was told this forest is called the Endless Forest." She smiled, glad to see him moving again. "Not sure why yet . . . but I'm, sure I will." The faun walked ahead of the deer, hugging her arms around herself for a moment, rubbing her arms softly. As the both inches closer to the Oak, Eve felt a little better. It was warmer in there after all. From what she could tell so far, this forest was the home to deer and from the reaction from the first stag she met, no humans. That made the faun curious.
"The Endless Forest..." he
Waning-Sun; The faun watched
The faun watched as the strange deer began to walk over to the Oak.
"Yes," he remarked simply
"Oh, I don't think that
Waning-Sun; Eve lightly ran
Eve lightly ran her fingers through her hair, attempting to get a few knots out that formed while she was in the snow storm a few days ago; glancing to Jay a few times as he began to relax.
Wiana;
You can't get lost in an endless forest?
The stag fell silent, his
Waning-Sun; At the late
At the late response and lack there of for detail, Eve titled her head to the side. What would it mean if the humans had . . . well. Eve signed.
"That is unfortunate," Jay
