Jay snapped off as many twigs as he could find, carrying as much as he could in his mouth, a branch dragging along in the snow behind him. He nearly got back to Eve before tripping up on the branch, sending twigs flying and himself flopping into the snow. He picked himself up, annoyance crossing his face as he tried to pick to branch back up, "Probably not even worth it," he muttered, dropping the branch at the entrance before shakily turning about to pick up the other twigs, "but if you can break it into more manageable pieces it could feed the fire a little longer than these twigs."
Waning-Sun; After already making a pile of sticks and twigs inside of the Oak, the faun heard the thin stag fall and quickly went over to see if he was alright. Tho, seeing as he gotten up and took the twigs into the tree, she only nodded. Partly glad he is getting so use to moving and how well he got up, but sad to see how low his hopes were. Eve knelt next to the large branch, seeing how thick it was and then tried to brake off a part from it. Took her a minute to looses but walla. She continued to brake the branch apart till it was a pile of thick sticks. Perfect for a fire. "Wonderful idea Jay. Now to start the fire." Placing the large sticks with the wood pile.
The stag didn't respond, having a mouthful of the twigs sort of stopped that ability, but he nodded his head and returned them to the pile before settling down beside the faun. "Tinder.. You'll need some of that won't you?" he asked with a glance toward her. "I guess some moss would work for that..."
Waning-Sun; The faun began to arrange the twigs and branches into a organized pile, glancing over to the moss as the stag next to her mentioned the need for tinder. "Hmmm, your probably right about that." Working with the two stones, Eve quietly worked to create little sparks. Slowly but surly, one was made and a little breaths of air; a fire began to grow. The look of satisfaction grew on her face. Feeling the warmth crawl up her arms and chest. "There . . . much better, right?" Eve glanced back to the other, smile on her face.

so so sorry with being late. So much stuff happened and ect.
Jay watched, wishing he could help in some way, but hooves weren't the best at starting fires. He returned her smile with one of his own, nodding in agreement. "Yes, definitely much better." The stag stretched out to allow the warmth to strike his fur, enjoying the feeling of being warm. He wanted to say something, to strike up a conversation with the faun, but his mind was drawing a blank. So instead he averted his eyes to the fire, watching it spark and flicker.
I've been gone from Eve for far to long, please forgive me anyone and everyone. It seems I got an idea for Eve and it will involve her leaving the forest. BUT ONLY for a short time. She will return. But till that date, I want to continue rping as her. o:
Oh my. It's been a while. Jay hasn't really changed much. If anything the poor guy's fallen to the wayside. He's still here though. Eve's like...one of his only friends.
The snow was gone, leaving so much green in the place of white. Such a stunning sight to the faun and something that made her feel oh so much like home. A sight that she has missed dearly. Prancing around, Eve leaped great distances around the old giant oak, the place when she stayed the winter. Eyes caught the glimpse of a patch of flowers, hooves taking her there. In her dainty fingers was the pipe she had finished crafting. The excited doe danced around, playing a playful tune as she went. Only a show of pure joy was on Eve's face. It had never felt so good to feel the warmth of the sun and lack of snow in her life again. Oh how she regretted not feeling blessed for once living in a forest that was forever green.
"You seem...happy," Jay muttered, staying within the trees as he watched the faun. He couldn't really blame her. He liked the springtime over the cold too.
Waning-Sun; Was in her own little world for a moment. Probably looking rather silly just dancing around as she made music. But she wasn't very aware of it. Once the voice of Jay reached her pointed ears, Eve slowed down and looked over to the stag in the mouth of the tree. "Why would I not be Jay?" Moving back over to him, sitting down by his side. "I've missed the green of a forest, it's a real relief. Don't . . . don't you think?" Soft face face the other, a little smile given to him.
Yes, we've mellowed out a bit. Still has panic attacks though.
The stag nodded, his limbs folding under him as he joined her in sitting, "Yeah, I guess it is pretty. A nice change from the cold. Are you celebrating the Spring? Like..." he paused realizing he had no other way to describe it, "a Faun Thing?"
