every thing was quiet with the little tiny body of a fawn resting in the middle of a snow coved meadow, was the forest holding its breath? 'past the sun and past the moon, little star' that lullaby was being sung by the wind just for the little fawn. the only sign of life from that cold body was shallow freezing breaths accompied with hot breath meeting ice cold air.
and im tired...

.:The white doe had become accustomed to the chilliness of the winter, having been blessed with a bit of a fluffier coat for such an occasion, though at times, she still felt chills run through her body. No matter how fluffy her body would get, she still would feel icy on her face; specifically her little pink nose and full lips, which she often tucked in to keep warm and prevent them from become cold and cracked.
Soon entering the meadow on her silent stroll through the Forest, her sight suddenly broke from its original trance and rested on a figure that lay in the center of this meadow, which was not as protected from the cold of winter as the thickness of the trees were, causing Flora to tense up as a wind came by stronger than she expected.
Deciding to investigate the figure laying not too far away, Flora trotted onward into its direction, letting out a gasp once she realized it was a fawn; laying cold and alone with shallow breaths escaping it. Thank goodness the little one had not perished.
"You poor thing...where is your mother?" she whispered, though partially was speaking to herself. After watching the little fawn for a second, she lowered herself into a laying position right by its side to offer some warmth; a concerned expression painted on her face. She did not want to wake the sleeping little one, but she would shield him/her from the cold nevertheless until they awoke, perhaps. She always had a soft spot for fawns...though never had seen one alone like this, before. It startled her, and she frowned as it reminded her of her own youth; cold, frightened and alone before Elf had found her, though her mind soon broke away from her flash-backs and returned to the sight of the sleeping baby near her, and she slightly curled up around the little fawn slightly in a protective manner.

"Oh goodness I am so sorry...did I frighten you?" asked Flora, worriedly as she examined the baby girl laying beside her. She was fascinated by the fawn's beautiful blue eyes, and found herself softly staring into them.

"My name is Flora, young Miss" the white doe introduced with a smile coming across her lips, though her brows furrowed slightly at the little fawn's coughing, and her curiosity of her seemed to be growing through the seconds.
"And what is your name?" asked Flora in a sweet, gentle voice.

Flora blushed. It was not often that her name was thought so highly of, nevertheless from a fawn's point of view, which in her opinion was awfully flattering.
"Why...thank you! I love your name, too...Abel." The fawn's name was so easy to say and beautiful, which strongly contrasted the usual hard-to-pronounce names she heard most of the time.
"Abel...why are you out here all alone? Where is your mum?" asked the white doe.
"the don't live here, well
Flora squinted with
"So your family is around but you only go to visit them?" asked the now-confused white doe as she flicked her curly tail behind her. After an awkward pause, she perked her head to take a gander around the meadow, which seemed abandoned except for the two of them. Still feeling worried for the child being alone, Flora stood up shakily on her cold legs and softly nudged Abel to follow her.
"It may be b-best we head to the trees for warmth," Flora insisted, shivering as a gust of wind blew snow over her face, causing her eyes to squeeze shut.

"Say, Abel. How would you like to go somewhere magical with me?" Flora asked with a smirk. She knew exactly where to take the fawn.
'hm.. what kind of magical?"

"You shall see," The white deer replied, softly.
Soon enough, after a little while of walking through snow and dodging fat trees, the two arrived to a wall of foliage-- a thicket. It took a while for Flora to shift away the branches and evergreen plants before the two finally arrived to a clearing. Like the rest of the forest, the area was decorated with snow, everywhere except for the inside of the mushroom circle which existed rather radiantly in the center of the clearing. It was not the mushrooms that were astonishing, though but rather what was inside of the circle, itself, which seemed to be big enough to fit at least five deer.
Inside of the mushroom circle was not snow but beautiful bright green grass and lots of sweet-scented flowers sprouting from the ground. In addition, a warm pleasant air seemed to come from the circle. It was as if the winter forgot to kiss this very spot, putting it in an eternal spring or summer.
Flora, with pride and glee in her eyes, turned her gaze down at the fawn.
"Welcome to my home, Abel."
