Roleplay (NikaGika and me only please)

The sky shimmered with the promise of a light drizzle that day, at least many of the creatures of the forest hoped so, especially the fawns. It was so hot all the time that every single forest deer had to go to the pond to cool off, even though it wasn't that big. When there wasn't room enough where the pond formed, many of the deer went closer to the Crying Idol, where they could allow the water to run over their head and neck. Rou was no different than these.

The young doe gave a yawn, walking lazily toward the pond. Come on, rain! She pleaded as she waded into the pond, enjoying the cool water rising around her shoulders. It was cool within the water of the Pond, unlike anywhere else in the forest. Even the Drinkplaats were hot and a few deer were ever seen there now. Rou gave a lazy yawn and then turned around in the water before she dipped her head slightly to enjoy the cool, refreshing water rushing through her mouth. She had thought she was the only forest deer at the pond, but she was wrong.

(enter NikaGika! lol)

OOC: Ha ha, who shall I use?

OOC: Ha ha, who shall I use? xD! I think I will use Forest Nika (Alien Nika is in the other RP with xcometx, and yes there are two Nikas! xD!). http://endlessforest.org/community/art-and-character-bios

It was hot. The young cow walked slowly in the shade. She could feel a storm coming. The light feeling of static clung the air. But for now she would have to find a place to cool off. De Drinkplaats was one place, but she did not feel like changing into some other creature. She thought of the pond, but she did not feel like moving through the crowd, and walking through the reeds. "The Crying Idol would be a good place, even though it might be crowded, but at least it's fresh water," she thought as she trotted towards it.

Rou's ear pricked at the

Rou's ear pricked at the sound of hooves on grass. They weren't headed for the pond, however, which was odd. I would understand if there were any other deer here, Rou thought, looking around her at the cool waters of the Pond. But there's hardly any deer here today. Rou shook her head, causing the water to create a wave that splashed against her neck, soaking her fur through. Sighing and not really feel like being alone, Rou, with as much energy as she could muster, bounded out of the water and ran further up the pond, stopping when she reached the crying idol, dipping her head under the cool, refreshing water that fed the pond.

OOC: I was thinking about

OOC: I was thinking about using another character in the RP with Rou instead of Nika (since Rou is RPing with her in the RP with Farron). She's also a fawn (I don't have a ref of her yet), if that would be okay to use her instead? Smiling

OOC: Daw! ^_^ sure! it'll be

OOC: Daw! ^_^ sure! Laughing out loud it'll be nice for Rou to have a friend that's a fawn, other than Rilea of course. ^_^ What's this fawn's name, or am i gonna have to wait to find out? Eye lol and it's fine! ^_^ i've actually never role-played with deer before, so yea! lol. horses, cats and wolves are the main animals I usually roleplay with, and humans! how can i forget the humans! lol. ^_^

Her name is Question? (hopefully the Russian letters show up! It's pronounced "KLOH-N", and it means "clown" in Russian)! Laughing out loud If you want to hear how it sounds, just type "clown" in Google Translate. You would spell her name with our alphabet Kloyn.

You pronounce Rou's name just like you're saying "Row the boat." just for future information ^_^

When I pronounce it I don't

When I pronounce it I don't hear "colon". I know you mean no harm, but I don't like that you associated her name with that.

xD! I thought her name was pronounced "Roo"!

I didn't mean to sound mean.

I didn't mean to sound mean. D: I suppose if Rou called her "colon" it would probably make her more sad (she's a sad clown lol)! xD! It would be pretty funny if she did because Kloyn doesn't think she's funny. xD!

wow! XD lol. Roo that's funny

wow! XD lol. Roo that's funny lol. no, it's Row. XD anywho, back to the Rp? lol.

Oh wow! XD that's sad and

Oh wow! XD that's sad and hilarious at the same time. ^_^ well, Kloyn can know that some people think she's funny ^_^

Little Kloyn peeked around

Little Kloyn peeked around the large tree. She saw the Crying Idol with a little fawn cooling off under them. She was very young, not even a week old. She didn't know anyone, or rather, she was too scared to meet anyone.

She was a little white fawn with colorful markings on her face and body that resembled a circus clown.

(*dumb cute voice* Whose

(*dumb cute voice* Whose cute? you're cute, yes you are! XD)

Rou looked up, her ears pricked at the sound of something. Spotting the little white fawn, Rou smiled and beckoned her over with a wave of her head, flicking it toward the Crying Idol. "Hey, there! Come on over here, the water's really great." She called calmly and softly, her voice friendly.

OOC: Kloyn? xD! She hid

OOC: Kloyn? xD!

She hid herself behind the tree. "She wants me to come over. What should I do? What if she pushes me into the water?" she thought, and sat down at the base of the tree.

(daww!! da cutie is shy!! ^_^

(daww!! da cutie is shy!! ^_^ that makes you even cuter, Kloyn! ^_^)

Rou, unsure why the fawn was hesitating, tilted her head to the side, one of her ears floppoing down as well. "Hey, come on! You don't need to be afraid!" She called energetically, a smile spreading onto her face. "Oh, how rude of me! My name's Rou!" She called again, not believing that she'd forget to introduce herself.

(Rou: *major faceplam!* lol)

She lie down on the ground

She lie down on the ground and covered her eyes. "Maybe if I stay quiet she'll go away" she thought. She trembled with fear.

Rou, growing more and more

Rou, growing more and more confused, trotted calmly toward the fawn and gently prodded her with a hoof. "Hey, are...are you alright?" Immediately, Rou's timid side took over and her energetic spirit vanished instantly. "Hey...I'm sorry if I startled you....I just thought...maybe..." Rou saw, in her mind's eye, her parents' faces once more and closed her own eyes as a tremor shook through her. "I...I'm sorry..." She whispered, turning back toward the Crying Idol, even though her tail was turned toward the tree instead of the fawn. Half of her still hoped that the fawn would stop being like this. "I'm sorry if I scared you." She said again, softer this time, her eyes gleaming with sorrow.

She peeked at the fawn from

She peeked at the fawn from her hooves. She saw how somber she looked, and she instinctively felt she needed to make her laugh. Even though she was scared she jumped right up, and began to run around in a goofy fashion, hopefully making Rou laugh.

Rou, at first confused,

Rou, at first confused, watched the other fawn running in a goofy fashion and a smile began to spread across the young doe's face. This fawn's so goofy! She declared to herself as her body shook as she tried her best to stifle a laugh. I can't laugh! Not risking this fawn slumping to the ground again... But Rou couldn't hold it in. Seeing the other fawn running in a goofy manner, Rou began to laugh, however much she tried to hold it in.

It made her happy that she

It made her happy that she was able to make the young fawn laugh. She continued until she fell down tired. It was too hot to dance around.

Rou slumped down beside the

Rou slumped down beside the other fawn, panting. "You're so goofy and I don't even know your name yet." She admitted, looking over at the fawn. "My name's Rou. What's yours?" She asked gently and with a friendly tone.

"I'm Kloyn," said softly.

"I'm Kloyn," said softly. Her shyness got the best of her again, no longer needing to be silly.

Rou smiled and touched her

Rou smiled and touched her muzzle to Kloyn's ear. "Nice to meet you, Kloyn." She said softly, hoping to bring this shy fawn to life again. Then, the air changed. Rou looked up at the sky from her place on the forest floor. "Good. It's going to rain soon. The forest needs it." She said with a smile.

(What's Kloyn's picto? just curious cause Rou was dancing with another fawn earlier today.)

Kloyn kept her head low.

Kloyn kept her head low. "It's nice to meet you too. I've never seen rain," she said softly.

OOC: I don't have fawn for her in the game, I only have my doe. Smiling

ah lol. Well, Farron and Rou

ah lol. Well, Farron and Rou are at the playground. ^_^)

Rou smiled wide and blinked. "You'll love the rain, Kloyn. It's the most beautiful thing in the world."

OOC: Okay, I'm trying to get

OOC: Okay, I'm trying to get in. Smiling

"Does it hurt? Where does it come from?" she asked. She trembled from not knowing what this strange "rain" was.

Rou smiled and shook her head

Rou smiled and shook her head gently. "Rain doesn't hurt at all. It just tickles, especially if it runs down your face. It feels really nice, much nicer than this heat." Rou admitted to the last part, smiling up at the darkening clouds. "Rain comes from the sky." Rou was trying her best to explain what rain was and where it came from. "Farron's told me a lot about where rain comes from, and snow. When the sky darkens with dark clouds and the winds shift, every forest animal knows that rain is on its way. I like to think rain comes from the tears of mothers and fathers of fawns they had to leave during the time of New Life." Rou's voice gained a sorowful tone as she mentioned this. "Snow comes from the sky, just like rain does. Only, snow comes during the Cold Times while rain comes in the summer and the time of New Life. Both are plesent to the touch." Rou closed her eyes as a few raindrops splashed onto her pelt and onto the dusty ground beneath them. Soon, the rain began to come down faster, but not like a downpour where the pond and river nearly overflowed.

Kloyn jumped in the air,

Kloyn jumped in the air, startled by the rain touching her pelt. The rain kept plopping onto fur. "It keeps falling!" she whimpered. Even though she said rain was safe, the dark, rumbling clouds made it seem scary to her.

Rou smiled and stood to her

Rou smiled and stood to her hooves. "Come on, Kloyn. I know a place where it's safe and dry. It's not far from here and the calming sound it gives drowns out the sound of the clouds' rumble. It's a peaceful place." Rou's tone became soft and somewhat sad as she told the fawn about it. It's the place I was born. She wanted to say out loud, but she couldn't bring herself to. Instead, she took several steps away from the Crying Idol and glanced back to make sure Kloyn would follow. "Come on, Kloyn. I know you're scared and it's alright to be scared. You can trust me. I'll take you somewhere safe, calm and dry." She said and started off at a trot toward the Hallow Oak, hoping that Kloyn was following.

Kloyn hesitated, but then

Kloyn hesitated, but then quickly followed behind. She began to hear a lovely hum coming from a giant oak tree. She had pass this tree before, but never ventured in afraid it might me someone's home.

Rou stepped inside the oak,

Rou stepped inside the oak, shaking her fur free of the water drops before she settled herself in a spot closest to a beautiful yellow flower. Rou shook her head free of a sad memory and motioned to Kloyn to join her with a flick of her ear."This place is a most beautiful place." She muttered, her eyes gazing out of the Hallow, toward a small group of trees. Mamma died right there. She thought bitterly, forcing herself not to cry, for Kloyn's sake. Rou wasn't yet ready to share the terrible memories of her past, at least not yet.

"Is it the safest place?" she

"Is it the safest place?" she asked while sitting down slowly.

Rou nodded, thinking back to

Rou nodded, thinking back to when it had begun to get dark and the human who had walked past never noticed her presence, nor did the strange creatures the human had with him. "It is the safest place in the entire forest." She knew it to be true, though she wasn't about to say it out loud.

"That's good" she said

"That's good" she said getting comfortable in the grass. It was nice and dry inside of the tree, and the gentle hum was soothing.

Rou's heart suddenly began to

Rou's heart suddenly began to beat violently against her chest as she thought of when the rain stopped. Kloyn will probably leave and return to wherever it is she lives and I'll be left alone again. She thought sadly. She decided to ask her new-found friend a question. "Kloyn, if you want to, you can stay here with me. My friend, Farron, doesn't stay with me all the time like I'd like for him to and I'm stuck here by myself a lot. Just being by myself makes me remember..." She trailed off and swallowed but continued, not mentioning what being by herself made her remember. "Being alone just doesn't agree with me. So, you're welcome to stay with me, in this Hallow and you can make it your home, like its been a home to me since the day I was born." Rou hoped that Kloyn would say that she'd stay.

"Yes, I can stay, I don't

"Yes, I can stay, I don't have a home anyway. I've just been wandering."

Rou felt a wave of happiness

Rou felt a wave of happiness wash over her, like it had when her parents were with her, like it had when Farron kept coming back to check up on her and teach her. "Great." Rou said, her tone slightly energetic. The hum the Tree produced was lulling her to sleep, as was the gentle fall of the rain outside. After she gave a yawn, she smiled at Kloyn. It was nice to know that her home wasn't housing one fawn anymore, now that Kloyn was staying. "Wandering's nice, but I prefer staying in one spot, the spot where I was born." Rou said softly, breathing in the sweet smell of the Oak.

"I was born by those two big

"I was born by those two big statues," she said while looking out of the oak. She was feeling less afraid, the hollow tree felt safe, and now she had a friend to sit with after being alone since her birth.

Rou looked over at Kloyn and

Rou looked over at Kloyn and smiled. "The Twin Statues, where forest deer go to pray to the Twin Gods." Rou said softly, not meaning to sound like a know-it-all. "That place is as special as this Oak, and every other location here in the forest." Rou added, nodding her head. She was glad she had someone else to talk to other than Farron. Farron's a great friend, but I hardly have anything in common with the buck. Maybe Kolyn and I have more in common than either of us know.

"Oh, I remember others

"Oh, I remember others praying at it, but I was too scared to stay around them."

Rou immediately felt saddness

Rou immediately felt saddness overwhelm her again, but it wasn't her own saddness. "Something happened to your mamma and pappa..." Rou guessed, not even asking a question. "I really don't want to ask, but...is that why you're so timid?" She asked, looking over at the other young doe with a look of sympathy in her blue-violet eyes.

"Oh, I don't think I have

"Oh, I don't think I have any. I just woke up by the statues, and I was here," she said. She didn't know why she was so timid.

OOC: The Gods just made her (like in the game you just appear lol, unless you're RPing and were "born" from two deer).

(I like to believe Rou had

(I like to believe Rou had parents, but the Twin Gods gave her a greater destiny, one that her parents knew about and sacrificed themselves to keep her alive. ^_^) Rou nodded and looked up at the sky as the clouds finally began to vanish, though the sky was still dark. "Maybe...maybe the Gods...maybe they made you timid because they intend for you to become a great deer one day, to make others laugh when they feel like their blue sky is a mile away." She said, her voice holding wisdom far beyond her years. Is that why they allowed my parents to die? Because they intended for me to become a great deer? Rou asked herself as she stared up at the sky where the stars were twinkling lightly. One day, I'll know the truth.

"Maybe," she said resting her

"Maybe," she said resting her head on her legs. She felt so tired; the burst of silly energy she did wiped her out.

Rou smiled over at her friend

Rou smiled over at her friend and nodded her head, resting her own head on the ground.

(no idea how to continue this :/ lol)

OOC: They go to sleep?

OOC: They go to sleep? xD!

Kloyn shut her tired eyes. She was happy that she made a new friend. She slowly drifted off into a deep sleep.

sorry i didn't reply. and

sorry i didn't reply. and what will they do after they sleep? any bright ideas? lol)

Rou smiled over at Kloyn and closed her eyes after she had given Kloyn a gentle nuzzle. She was happy that there was another fawn living in the Hollow with her. She was glad she didn't have to stay here alone and soon, she was asleep, though her dreams were still filled with her parents.
